Love the taste and cleans my teeth well. Reason for 4 stars is you need alot more tooth paste to be able to brush all your teeth.

I’ve used this gentle toothpaste for many years. It has a mild taste and doesn’t irritate my gums.

It’s very peppermint / spearmint forward and doesn’t fully leave your mouth feeling clean given there are no bubbles or foam while brushing. The toothpaste is a reddish color which is somewhat off putting when spitting in the sink. Maybe it’s because I’m not used to this type of toothpaste, but personally don’t like it.

I have had several unsuccessful cavitation surgeries. (Infections in jaw bone). I have Lyme disease and several automimme illnesses. Therefore, I know now I don’t heal well from surgery. I subsequently have been left with oral ulcers where the surgeries were. But that’s another whole issue. My point is while I try to get my immune system to to work better I need an extremely gentle toothpaste that would not hurt or burn my ulcers. Mint is way too harsh. And while the fruit flavored toothpastes were fine it wasn’t until I found this one and was AMAZED! It actually soothes my oral ulcers. I find myself thinking about this toothpaste during the day when I am flaring up. 😂I recently have started leaving a bit of the paste on my sores after I brush my teeth and makes them feel SO much better! I suspect it’s the myrrh and calendula which are anti-inflammatory. I will never stop using this!! And since I’ve been using it, my teeth themselves have never been better. I recently went to the dentist after 4 years because of the pain I’m in. But they were astonished. No plaque, cavities, gum recession. It took 10 min for a cleaning. So while I need to get to the root of my oral ulcers, I am so thankful this toothpaste instead hurting, actually helps. LOVE all Weleda too. Skin Food is the best cream ever!
