Light only works plugged in
I'll update my review if anything changes but it doesn't work. I installed batteries in the light and pulled the battery tab from the remote. The light will not turn on. I'm going to get a new battery for the remote and fingers crossed that fixes it. Also, it did not come with an instruction manual.Update 12/28 - New batteries came in for the remote. No change after I replaced the remote batteries. I did discover the light will work if I plug it in and the remote can control it but only when plugged in. So it would seem the issue is within the battery compartment. I know the batteries are brand new and I checked the batteries were aligned correctly so maybe a loose connection? I'll see what my wife wants to do and if we will return it or not. She might be okay with the plugged in option.
