good tool - great value
A wonderful value. I would pay for a W-A if I was going to use it all day every day. I'm retired now and only occasionally need a diagnostic set. This is perfect for occasional use.

Great product for students in nursing, NP or PA programs
Arrived early and everything was working properly. You will need to buy C batteries for this! The otoscope will definitely serve its purpose while I’m in school.

Manchester, IN, takes a group of students, alumni, and interested persons to remote rural areas of Central America to augment health care and expose the students to other cultures. Now old and mobility limited I am not fit to go but am pleased to supply useful items for them. Amazon provides a very convenient source for things like this.

Very happy with purchase
As a NP student, I had no idea what set to get. And I do want to mention, that everyone has their own preferences on medical equipment. Just like stethoscopes. I personally don't like Littman's. But some nurses love them.For me, this set was easy to use and provided clear views of the internal ear and tympanic membrane. I do recommend purchasing a higher quality set, especially if your new to assessing ears, eyes, nose and throat. The cheaper sets can blur, making it alot more difficult to visualize landmarks. I also recommend getting a set that has LED as the light source. LED lights provide a clear, bright light. Some of the other light sources can be a warmer tone, making it difficult determining the color of the tympanic membrane and/or fluid behind it.Do your own research and if available try different styles to see what works for you.And if you like this set, you can always return them. Unlike most other places.

not very effective otoscope set. tried to use in clinic. unable to see TM well. Poor light. Had to return

Limited quality
Arrived looked okay but the reticle is poor magnification and it is poor quality. The top is loose after using it one day. Threw it away will only order Welch Allen.
