The low vis thing seems to result in more fish in my opinion .
Always my go to line . Not going to rattle off the usual boring bass pro mentality descriptions it simply works well if you tie a good knot it is just good overall line . Pan fish , bass , catfish , Pike with a leader I change my line every year . This works if it is not old stock that has been sitting unused forever . Fresh is best .

Very good mono
Used Stren for many many years. The quality is still the same. Casts well, strong and tough. Very good knot strength with Improved clinch knot.

Great for Mono Rig Tight-line Leaders
Gold Stren is great for using as a the tapered/sighter portion of a mono rig tight-line leader. Bright enough to see, not too bright to spook fish, and the stiffness is just right for casting and turning flies over.
