Lovely mask that gets rid of brassy tones

Took the advice of a hairdresser who advised using a purple hair mask rather than shampoo, since the purple shampoos tend to strip the hair. Prepped my hair with a homemade acv clarifying shampoo, then used this as instructed for 3 mins. Amazing results first time; hair is glossy and soft. More importantly, my grey hair looks brighter. Highly recommend 🌟

Used twice and I can definitely see a difference. I have bleach highlights and this has helped take away the yellow/copper tones and brightened it up. Has quite a strong smell and can stain easily though. Doesn't leave my hair feeling rough / dry afterwards like some other products have done in the past.

I got this on offer at £2.50 and I'm really pleased with it. I personally do not have bleached hair however I was using it to get rid of brassy red tones in my hair. I used to dye my hair bright red. I have stripped the colour out of my hair and I'm growing the remains of the dye out of my hair. I have some red ends and brassy orange mids, this has helped to cool down the brassy tones really well. The red is still there but I never expected it to get rid of that. It's evened my hair out really well which is exactly what I wanted. Very pleased with the results. I applied the mask with gloves on and sectioned my hair for coverage. I left it on for about 2 hours which was needed for my hair, some care is needed to not get this on your skin and clothes as you would any hair product with dye in it.

Honestly hair is left feeling soft. Only issue I had is it would work on the bleached areas which did lighten but it did nothing for my natural hair. I bought it as I made the mistake of using blonde box dye on my hair which tinged both the bleached areas and my natural hair orange so I wanted this to cancel out that colour. Over the course of three days and leaving it on my hair for hours at a time it did cancel out any orange tones in the bleached areas but did nothing on my roots and doing a 4th session it would have made my hair bluey purple on the bleached areas and id still be most likely ginger on my natural hair. Conclusion, works but takes awhile and only works on bleached areas of hair. If you want something cheap got for it but I'd say test a strand to see how long you actually need to have it on for it to work for you.

Arrived quickly. Been using this for a couple of years. Find it gives my white hair a slight purple hue which gets remarked favourably. I was unable to find product in any shop locally but luckily Amazon had in stock.

I bought this along with the shampoo and conditioner of the same brand.Unfortunately it didn’t work on my ash grey hair, it turned into more yellowish color.🙄
