Does exactly what I wanted it to do !!

Works, but does leak a little
This was used to stop the washing machine draining back up the pipe into the dryer, via a Y joint.Previously if the waser drained a full load, some water would push up the driver's drain, fill its reservoir and over the floor.The check valve has stopped it. But there is still a dribble of water passing the wrong way.

Non return valve works
I have fitted these to my caravan and at present they work. I don't have a lot of pressure from a small pump but at the moment it's good.
