It’s a salty hot chocolate with much fewer calories.
If you want electrolytes, are trying to watch your calorie intake and like a salted chocolate this one is for you. It’s not very sweet and admittedly it took a moment for me to get used to a salty hot chocolate, but now I find it to be a guilt-free treat after some cold weather exertion.

Delicious!
Delicious!! Very rich and salty but not overwhelmingly so. I used hot water, a small amount of heavy whipping cream and a sliver of butter. I whipped it up with a frother. The stevia is minimal, the last ingredient listed, and I didn’t find it overly sweet, more of a sweet aftertaste. This is helping me quit coffee.

OFF. THE. CHART!
Wasn't quite sure how this would be but WOW! I tried it in my coffee - it was delicious. It is even better when just combined with hot water. This is my new go-to for sure!!

Gets rid of my sweets cravings
I just started the keto diet, so I’m still craving carbs and sweets. This mix gets rid of my sweet tooth. It has a nice taste. I like the saltiness bc I like salted Carmel. If you’re not a fan of salted Carmel or chocolate, you might not like it. I like cold drinks, so I get a small cup of hot water to dissolve the mix and then add it to my ice water. If you don’t do that, it won’t mix well in cold drinks. Drinking this the first few days took away my keto flu symptoms. I’ve also tried the citrus , watermelon, and raspberry, but this chocolate Carmel one is my favorite. It is very sweet, which takes some getting used to, but oh well. I definitely recommend this to folks who are low carb and have a sweet tooth and like salted Carmel.

Makes a slightly chocolatey cup of salt water. UPDATE 2 - Increased from 1 star 4
1000mg of sodium is exactly that, a ton of salt, and no amount of chocolate will mask the overwhelming taste of salt. If you are extremely deficient in your sodium intake and don't mind swallowing warm salt water, you know, the kind we used to gargle with as a kid when we had a sore throat, then there is a chance you might be able to drink this. As for getting your electrolytes these don't offer a great balance of sodium, magnesium and potassium so not sure why anyone would need this product. Unfortunately, this cannot be returned so I'll see if I have any luck on my Buy Nothing Group. UPDATE 1: After doing some research I stand corrected that the ratio of these electrolytes can be beneficial. I love salt and use it generously on my foods but as for in a beverage it is just too much for me. I had no takers on my Buy Nothing Group, so I gave it another try and, based on reviews added, a lot more water in addition to heavy cream. Even though this diluted both the chocolate flavor and salt it was more tolerable. I should have paid more attention to the honest reviews regarding how overwhelmingly salty it tastes. I was just so excited that they made a hot chocolate that fits into a keto lifestyle I was swayed by all the positive taste reviews. UPDATE 2: After trying several ways to consume this product I have found adding extra hot water and blending in a blender with a little heavy cream makes a DELICIOUS frothy hot chocolate!!! I have also added it to my blended chocolate Vital Collagen Peptide Protein shakes for an extra chocolatey flavor. I know I was adamant that I would NEVER buy this again but alas, I was wrong, and do plan on purchasing it again especially during the cold winter months. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because of the high price.

Okay - who misses Ovaltine?
SO, my Little KetoVores, anyone missing hot chocolate this holiday season? Or just needing a sweet treat to beat a craving? Look no further...and because it works so well, and tastes so amazing without a bunch of junk, I don't want to hear it about the price, mmmkay? Because if something does what it says it is going to do - and this does: it says it will healthfully hydrate you, while beating cravings with deliciousness and without garbage that can throw you into cravings the next day. Spoiler alert - it does all of this...the only downside I found is it can make you a bit gassy, so, whether it is homeopathic or western medicine, I suggest taking a tooter-totaler. My suggestion, if you'd like it...and if you keep reading, you do, so enjoy!: For hot chocolate, only use half a pack in a large mug with 85% water, and 15% heavy cream (added at the end). You heat your water, add half the pack, stir until it is completely mixed and then add in about a quarter cup of heart whipping cream....it.is.insanely tasty! The whole pack makes it more flavor rich but very salty - this recipe truly puts a good old fashion cup of Swissmiss in your hand, with a delightful dash of saltiness. For the cold fab, ala Serendipity New York: Mix a full pack into a tall glass of water, stir, stir, stir and then add in the 1/4 cup of heavy whipping cream, top with ice and a decorative swirl straw....the straw is very important, honestly: make sure what you're eating us fun to look at if you're bored with your diet....it's the fun stuff that lured you into eating the junk, and so let your new healthy choices have some decoration too! You might think it'll make you crazy sprinkles or something of the like, but it doesn't - corny as it sounds, it makes you feel cherished, happy and celebrated...even if it's just you, the dog and YouTube. Happy hydrating and prayers anyone reading this is truly blessed in the name of Jesus in their every need and effort. We're doing these diets for a reason and I pray whatever your need is, it is met. Amen.

Great product, wonderful flavor!
My daughter has POTS. This is the only product that helps her “feel normal”. She also loves the flavor. I wish it wasn’t so expensive though.

Way too sweet because of the stevia
Really disappointed in this product. I have tried other electrolytes before and have one that I use that I enjoy but was trying to find one lower in calories so it didn't mess with my fasting. I loved that this was 5 calories and hadn't thought to add electrolytes to warm water before. I first tried a packet in black iced coffee and it was nasty. It didn't mix well at all and was super sweet and salty. I decided to try it hot and added only half a packet to a mug. It mixed much better and the saltiness was tolerable but the sweetness was not. I could barely stomach about half of the mug. And it took time to drink that. The flavor combination overall was decent minus the sweetness. If it didnt have the stevia I think this thing would be amazing. Let me add that I have a SWEET TOOTH. I am not someone who doesn't eat sweets. I am doing OMAD and like 40hrs prior to trying this LMNT, I ate a dang whoppie pie during my omad. So I was really surprised at how disgustingly sweet this thing was when I typically rather enjoy sweet things. 3 stars because if you dont mind stevia and how grossly sweet it is- this product is low in calories, and would probably be a pretty great addition to your morning coffee or even with hot water like I had it. I think it probably did help with brain fog a bit too so there's that. But it's gross lol
