Sweet Potato Starch - 14oz.

I quit looking for this item in the stores after I found it here. It wasn't even in stock at a local Asian market here! When you want a crispy coating this is the way to go for sure. Arrived on time, well packaged and in good condition. Recommended.

Fried this is the best starch. I usually fry twice and this stands up to the task. I have regular corn starch but use this most often. MUST TRY!!!!

I have become allergic to corn so can no longer use cornstarch in my cooking.This product did the job cornstarch used to do and my sweet & sour pork turned out nicely.

I regularly use this sweet potato starch in cooking, especially if I am cooking for someone who needs to avoid potatoes, since sweet potatoes are not at all related to white potatoes. The package is good, although having an ability to close it securely would be helpful.

This is a great product. I use it all the time making almond bread and other baked goods. It’s also a really good replacement for Corn Starch when you need to thicken soups, sauces or gravy. Works better than Arrowroot starch or Tapioca starch. Plus, because it’s made from sweet potatoes, it has a pleasant taste as well. I just recently ordered another bag of this starch, and it came as large granules instead of the powder like texture it normally is. No problem, I dumped it into my NutriBullet and it turned to powder in an instant.

I used this in following a recipe for Sesame Chicken, and it makes a nice crispy coating. It behaves just like corn starch, but the online chef thinks it makes a more crispy coating.

Used it as a coating for pork chops,makes them xtra chrispy.

Yes it does exceed my expectations because this product is very hard to find. I've been to a few stores and nobody carries this. I have a few kinds of arthritis and I really appreciate being able to substitute the 'sweet potato starch' for regular potato starch which aggravates my arthritis. Very nice to just order a few packages.
