BMC makes the best toy soldier sets! Pretty realistic for the period they portray and stand up to a LIT of kid-play!

My nine-year-old grandson like the big building that comes with it. The set is well made.

I would've given this a 5 star but the porch assemble and some of the soldiers came broken. I'm assuming it's just because they're made of a stiffer plastic and got bumped to much on the journey over. I was still able to assemble the porch and the soldier s were easily fixed with some super glue. Just bummed it came that way. Still an overall excellent set. BMC is doing an excellent job.

My son loves history and found this set on his own and asked for it for his birthday. He was thrilled to receive it and set it up before even unwrapping the rest of his gifts! Set up was fun and easy but as with all plastic sets having a small file on hand is a good idea just in case the fit seems a little too snug. As a parent I love watching my son recreate history and use his imagination.
