These candles are beautiful when lit and give the appearance of the real thing. They even feel real with the waxy coating. The remote control device lets you turn them on or off, dim or brighten, change from steady light to a flame flicker appearance all of which can be set to go off 2,4,6 or 8 hours later. I highly recommend them. Upon arrival one candle did not work. The enclosed paperwork, guaranteed complete satisfaction so rather than return to Amazon, I sent an email. 24 hours later, as promised, I received a reply requesting a copy of my order. I sent it, received a return email less the 24 hours later telling me a replacement candle was on the way with a tracking number and a note that Amazon return was not needed. Two days later, I receive a complete new set of four candles. It does not get better than that. Buy with confidence.

When you order 4 you expect 4 to work but only 3 did. The 4th candle when you opened the bottom the Cooper wiring was all twisted and popped out. so sad because I got the other 3 all set up. the company will not send on only one. So will have to return.UPDATE: Change star update: I returned the day I received them and the following day I received 4 new ones and they all work. So I have to give credit for the quick customer service.

These look and feel like real wax candles they fit perfectly in standard candle holders. It is wonderful to have the ambience of candlelight without the potential hazards of an open flame.

I really like the idea of having tapers that are battery operated. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in these. They do not stay put in my candle holders. I put a rubber band around the bottom to make them fit better. However the bottom is the part that screws open for the batteries. So every time I turn them on, I have to take the rubber band off, put the battery in, turn them on, then put the rubber band back on and put them in the candle holders. It's not something I would take time to do very often. So I mostly leave them unlit which defeats the purpose.

These tapered candles are the next best to the real thing! Well maybe better... the flame and the authentic wax look +++Plus the remote with timer etc...why hesitate!!The only reason why it didn’t get a five * packaging was different then shown. 2 separate card board boxes and remote in bottom. I’m picky;)

I currently just opened a candle store & bought a box of 8 of these to show off some of our candle holders. I was Stunned at how real these look even pretty close up! I have at least a few people a day touch them to double check to see if they're real!

As some other reviewers said, two candles are not working. There was no paperwork in the package so I’m unsure how to contact the seller. The candles that do work are very nice! I just wish the other two worked as well.

The candles looked very nice, but performance lacked. One of the 4 candles didn’t work at all, another worked only at intervals. I do not recommend that product. I’ve returned the product for a refund.
