Got this to use over my pool because it keeps super hot here in Texas and the sun was causing algae in my pool so I had my husband installed it and it has held up over a year no rips or anything from the heavy wind or heat. Only thing I didn't like was the little string they gave with it you will definitely want to buy some heavy rope or something else.

Purchased this Shade and Beyond 12 x 16 Rectangle Sun Shade Sail Canopy 185GSM Shade Sails UV Block for Patio areas to use at my house. I had an area near my patio that was about 12 x 16 and I wanted to get a shade and block out sun, so I could put a table and chairs. I was able to connect this to the roof boards on 2 sides and get it up. It might be easier to ask a Handy man to install the connections, but you can do it yourself.It is a thick material that is durable and sturdy. It can be taken down and then put back up year to year. Of course over time the sun damage it and a new one will need to be purchased. It depends on home much sun your area gets. I like it and it matched the colors of my patio area too.

Concerned that with a large group out side would be used, unfortunately was COLD & WET (not your fault) and all crowded in side ( it did block the wind hanging from upper deck) . Dogs babies, children, adults young & old BUT 85 birthday Party still a HUGE SUCCESS Im sure we will use it in the future

I love these tarps. They let in the perfect amount of light and casts a soft, golden glow on everything. I had my 1st one for 4 years before it started showing signs of tiny holes. And they were avoidable....my cat loved to sunbathe on it and would make her muffins up there. And one winter we didn't take it down before a freeze. I am 100% happy with this product.

It is what it is. It works, looks good, and is very affordable. The trick to these is to properly tension them. That involves good anchors that are properly installed. It also involves good rope that doesn't stretch. A good understanding of proper knot tying and use is a requirement.

These solar shades are fantastic! I purchased a few and they keep my house about 20 - 25 degrees cooler inside, especially important in the hot weather. I also use them to shade my bee hives when the outside temp is really hot. The bees are thriving despite temps above 100 which is really important. They are super easy to install. They work great and I highly recommend these.

I liked the color and size. It is not a very effective sun shade. I have bought many over the last 6yrs at all different price points and this one offeres the bare minimum of shade. It is definitely the lowest quality 1 I've owned. Example if you look towards the sun while under it you still have to squint. There is the smallest of temp and light difference while under it.

Am currently in the process of still installing it. I am a one man show and therefore taking a little bit longer. Wife wanted to cover the back deck so that we can use it more often as an extension of the house. Here in the south (Tennessee) the temperature changes especially now during the fall season. Before deciding to build a more permanent structure, will be using this to see how much we use the back deck.After unpacking this thing you can see the quality in the stitching around the "D" rings. Time will tell...

This product has saved our lives this summer. We bought the hardware that was sold separately, and the two, then went together perfectly. It is a plastic material, but it is very breathable. We ordered it in the beige, and the light still comes through with the sun, but it blocks the direct sun. I live in a very windy area and it is still in perfect shape. It is extremely easy to take down and takes less than two minutes. So we are able to put it up and take it down depending on the weather.

Quality & After-Sales Service! This was my 1st Shade Sail purchase ever, so did not have anything to compare it to, but the Fabric is a great weight. I had a slight issue with my purchase, however, when the Seller was contacted, they got back to me straight away and solved my issue very quickly. I would not hesitate to do business with them again. It went up easy and does what is supposed to do. It’s a little wrinkled still hopefully they go away. Over all I’m pretty happy with it👍
