Bellroy Hide & Seek Premium Edition LO (Slim leather billfold)

I rarely write reviews but on this product I thought it possibly helpful to address the price for quality dimension. This wallet is ridiculously expensive. Nonetheless, I chose to buy it. In my opinion, was the wallet worth the price? Yes, for the following reasons. 1. General Quality. The structure or material design of the wallet is what you’d expect for the price. The leather pieces are cut precisely and look great, and particularly, the bill holding component at the back of the wallet is never effected by the front part holding whatever cards you may have. Thus, in a scramble at a cashier’s desk to put away change, the endeavor is easy, as one would hope for the price. 2. Precise Measurements. The fitted slips to hold the credit/debit cards are each precisely measured to hold the card fit and securely. I’ve not seen a wallet with such a “non-stacked” (credit cards, one in front of the other, vertically) and tailored design. What I wonder is given how precise the leather is cut to fit the cards, if, after much use the trimmed boundaries of the credit card holders begin to wear. 3. Plenty of Space. Simply, I fit all my contents into the wallet without consulting the “hidden” pocket for storage which can assuredly handle quite a load of cards and/or change/bills. The design and structure of the wallet somewhat makes this intermediate sleeve between the bill holder and the credit card portion, independent on its own, meaning contents in either other section does not inhibit one’s ability to put contents in this section. Last, 4. Appearance when full. I’ve learned that what a wallet looks like before and after being filled with your contents can be materially different as to make a wallet a “bad buy” after it appears to be sound one all the way until filled. This wallet, as pictured, contains all my desired materials and maintains its shape and structure. In sum, this is a pricey wallet. Nonetheless, you get what you pay for.

Love this wallet! I used to carry just a small front pocket card wallet, but this one made me return to the thicker bifold. Materials feel really high quality and after over a year of daily use, the wallet still looks in perfect condition. I love that the cash pocket has a hidden section. When I'm abroad I use it to separate currencies, and at home I use it to hide larger bills. Plenty of card slots for my main credit cards, ID, and other miscellaneous cards. Bonus is that the NarwhalCo pens fit perfectly in the middle of the bifold crease so I now have a small pen with me all the time without having to add extra items in my pocket. Comes in super handy!

I bought this wallet to replace my old coach wallet, but this wallet was a huge upgrade. Very quality supple leather and plenty pockets and compartment to hold all my cards and cash and still maintain a slim profile. I like the minimal logo of the premium over the normal version. RFID protection and hidden compartments are an added bonus. I would recommend purchasing this wallet to anyone.

Wallet did not feel like a good quality wallet. Very thin and flimsy. Inside was even worse, idk what the material is but overall not worth 130$.

Product as described. This is my second Bellroy wallet. The last one had the credit cards starting to wear thru the leather after ~15 years. The leather is much stiffer on this new one. Card openings were tight but are loosening up after a couple of weeks of use. The "hidden" compartment is obvious unlike the predecessor. Stiching appears to be good. I like Bellroy's quality but initially not thrilled with this one. Maybe the bar was too high from my previous one

The Wallet is great. It arrived on time. The shape and dimensions are pretty much perfect. When you insert your cards they feel nice and snug and after about a week I can already feel the wallet conforming to it’s contents. The cards are getting a little easier( in a good way) to take out. The hidden cash flap is getting easier to lift up and access. The cards while placed inside look nice and the logos are easily visible which is a plus for me. The stitching and build quality is absolutely top notch. The light grey/navy blue and cream color combination on the inside of the black wallet are really really nice. The light grey/blue looks even better in person than it does in the picture. The leather is super soft yet feels sturdy. Great wallet over all. I’m 20 and I can see myself having this wallet all throughout my twenties until it’s time to replace.

I've used this wallet for over 2 years. It's been a solid wallet but I'm surprised at this price point that I'm still having issues with cracked burnished edges and delaminating liners. I understand the cracks but the liners are pulling away from the leather. It looks like a small bead of adhesive was used to keep it in place instead of stitching it. I've had to super glue the liner to keep things where they're supposed to be. It looks really nice and the design is cool. I like the hidden pockets and card capacity. Once it conforms to your "shape", it's no more comfortable or uncomfortable than any other wallet. All in all, it's a fairly standard wallet.

Love this bellroy wallet. I had an original and decided to treat myself with the premium product line this time around. The leather is nice, the finish is good, and the craftsmanship is high quality. It's a little pricy, but oh well. If I had to do it again, I may go back to the regular wallet the next time though. This version takes a little while to loosen up, and ultimately, I liked the look of the old wallet. I guess you never forget your first love.

Una excelente cartera a un precio muy bueno. El valor es increíble, mejor que cualquier cartera de "marca". Recientemente visité coach y sus carteras cuestan 2, 3 o r veces más, y usan materiales de mucho mejor calidad y mucho peor tacto. La recomiendo ampliamente. El único pero es que es un poco grande para los billetes de México, pero también por eso permite guardar varias cosas, manteniéndose delgada. La calidad de los materiales es perfecta y el color es hermoso

My apprehensions dissipated quickly once I arranged my wallet-worthy things into it. It magnificently accommodated everything and looked relatively compact — a near-perfect wallet.

Quality made product . Great wallet for immediate and hidden compartment for cards.

This Bellroy wallet's design is very sleek and practical. They offer both regular and premium option. I'd like to share my thoughts with people interested in this wallet. The leathers used feel very different and can't be conveyed through photos – you get what you paid for. The premium version has a great texture, while the regular one might feel cheaper in comparison. Though not a major issue, the differences in stitching and leather work are more apparent in photos. The regular version has very poor leather stitching at the corner as shown from the picture. Personally, I prefer spending a bit more for the premium version, given the thoughtful use of different materials inside and very nice seams.
