Nice book! It is considerably smaller than I expected but the size is accurate in the description (7"x7") - I just overlooked that, so I absolutely do not fault the author or the book for that! Really fun book with lots of information. I can't wait to try some of the recipes!!

Perfect book for someone who lives like in the old days!

A few of the topics covered in the book, I already knew a lot about: candle making, bee keeping, and soap making. The simple bread recipes and the information about bread making was reason enough to read this book! I have never had anyone I could learn bread making from. This book filled that void.It is easy to read, well laid out, and broken into short segments. This is a book to keep as a reference tool.

Bought this for my daughter who just moved to a farmhouse...she loves it!

It's more like a reference book than a read from cover to cover book. I am enjoying it. I pick it up from time to time and learn about different homesteading methods. It has a lot of great ideas.

Really great book for a young mom! I can't raise livestock in the city but still some good stuff!
