Filter is fine but the hose clamp it comes with is too wide for the filter and slips off when you tighten it, so hopefully you saved your old clamp.

For correctly on my 2009 Rancher 420

The foam has a seam in it that was not bonded, so it’s barely hanging on. The rubber boot that connects to intake plenum does not have a lip on the edge like the OEM did, so the clamping ring slips off when you try to tighten it.
