This thing is awesome, works great for labels, heat shrink tubing, and much more, ultra quiet!

Pros: A case to hold and protect the product. The option to use batteries or the supplied charger. Got this guy on sale which is fantastic! You’ll never get bored with its many features. It’s a label maker that can print barcode's and print on sink wrapping. My label maker came with a hard case for storage, a sleeve to protect it and make it easier to hold the label maker a charger and a roll of tape and a lifetime warranty! How many other label makers offer this type of warranty? I compared this label maker to other top brands and the cost to own them was far more expensive and over time. Their customer service department is great and will answer the phone! Cons - This is an industrial label maker and holds 6 batteries which can make it heavy to hold and is an older model and not a con. It could benefit from a brighter screen. The print for the instructions are small and with one call to customer service I received larger print instructions which I printed out and put into a binder. Ok, the print stuff is not a con. In closing, this label maker is a five star printer offering endless options. This label maker will save you money because of its warranty and that the tape is made by other manufacturers who offer tape bundles that work with this printer. This is one of first products I can truly say Amazon offered a great deal in pricing and offering a printer that is a great product. Buy this one you can’t go wrong! As you can tell I made a good decision and will not easily get bored using this product! Printing is fun again! Bravo Amazon, Bravo Epson!

Great label maker and a nice update since my old one died after a decade of use! As a project-oriented home-owner and small portfolio property manager, it's a great tool to be able to put notes on things when I want to. Most recently, for instance, I used it for my hardware bins - so convenient! This one has plenty of fonts and font sizes so you can customize more to your taste ... arguably more of a complexity and novelty than necessity. I'm very pleased my old ribbons work on the new machine, as these "consumables" are costly. I had gotten used to having one, forcing this replacement. Given how everything today is built cheaply, I hope it lasts at least as long than the last.

I have used the label maker a few times. It has many functions and buttons for different functions. It needs an "Easy" button to just quickly make a label. It does allow for longer tape if text is too long or font is too large and you dont want to take the time to adjust every little thing. The two labels I made came out with good print quality I purchased the whole kit which included the case, power cord, label tape and drop guard rubber sleeve. For the extra money, I was kind of disappointed that the case did not hold the power cord in place in the case like it does with the labelmaker printer. Therfore the power cords jossles around in the case and makes noise. I like the rubberized drop guard sleeve, as it gives my small hands a good grip on this larger sized label printer. However, after one use there is a lot of lint, fuzz, and hair stuck to it. And I sat at my dining room table while using it. I fear that this rubber sleeve will either continue attracting fuzzies to the sleeve or that in the future, this sleeve will become too sticky to use. I will update the product review in the future.

So if full disclosure, I have not used it much (yet). But I did receive it, try it and play with it. I got the one with the carry case and its very nice and sturdy, and holds everything including the instructions in one place (it has batteries but I also got the AC/DC power supply and AC cord). The printer itself was easy to load and use, contrary to some reports I read (dont know what they are complaining about). It also appears to not pad the print with a huge leader and lagger like other printers do (although it still has some). The printer has a rubber "boot" around it and I found this feels nice and gives you a firm hold on the printer and it also helps prevent it sliding on the table. The print was big and high quality on the trial labels I printed. The key reason I go this one is because it will print Heat Shrink Tubing! As an electronics lab rat this will make project SOOO much nicer with wires labeled ready to go. I have not bough any think tube yet, but that is on my list next. So this is just initial impressions, but I'm very happy with it thus far, and if you dont see a follow up complaining about issues, its likely that any issues I encountered were not significant (that is not a promise that I will update this review if I find problems, but if the problems are significant and piss me off enough I will update this most likely). So at this time, I find this highly recommended seemingly avoiding the pitfalls of there systems I read about, and so far meeting all my expectations! Lets hope that continues!

Bought this to mark wires with. Print the numbers and letters on shrink tube for marking wires. Love it! Great product!

Completely blown away with this printer. It has been a great addition and has been phenomenal in performance. For the price, you just can't beat it. I've used the heat shrink tube on a sizeable project and am so glad I git this printer. Heat shrink tubing is excellent. A fantastic buy!!

Overall I like it but figuring out the font settings is frustrating and not at all simple. I still haven't figured out the extra-large font setting that I need. I like the case it comes in. It does the job but I am not sure I would buy it again.

Disappointed this didn’t come with a UK plug, which wasn’t specified.

Works like a charm. No App required, no log in required. Works plugged in or with removable batteries. No connectivity therefore no invasion of privacy; awesome.

So convenient to use. Lots of options. Highly recommended.

Very nice compact portable label maker in a sturdy hard case. Good quality, nice keypad, settings are easy to adjust. Great for use by a mobile heavy duty mechanic.
