Sized one up and it fits perfectly! I love this slip, I haven’t had one in many years and this was above my expectations. It’s very soft, seems well made, no rips, or irregularities and it’s nice and stretchy. It covers everything that needs covering while I’m wearing white without showing through. I wash everything in cold water and hang dry so I don’t see laundering being a problem. It’s a good price and good quality, so I definitely recommend!

I bought two of these slips XLs (black and nude) to go under my new fave Sante Classic microfiber kaftans ($25 each) (which I now have six of) and I'm now buying an additional XXL nude slip because I wear them both all the time. The old XLs fit fine and didn't shrink and wash well but I'm thinking an XXL will fit a little looser (it's stretchy but not clingy.) I'm 5'9" and about 170 lbs. I've gained 20+ pounds so don't fit into my old clothes and can't wear anything tight around my waist because of a digestive disorder, but I've found to my surprise (at 70) that I can still be beautiful comfortable and convenient by alternating these gorgeous comfy kaftans/slips--in bed, at home, at the computer, at church, running errands. The slips are comfy and long enough to make the light kaftans "decent" (you can--sort of--see through them if you stand in the light just right, so they require a slip. The kaftans are bright, beautiful, traditional designs (about 30 different ones in the microfiber style--I haven't tried the satin ones)--and I have had a million compliments on them. Well, in a year, about 20. That's not bad! I found them on a church friend who gave me the brand to look up on Amazon. The kaftans ship in about two days, never wrinkle, wash & wear instantly, never fade, never change in any way that I can tell. I wear them so much I'll probably pull some threads eventually, but I can get a friend with a machine to reinforce a seam if necessary, as the fabric is really just two squares and a neckline. The slips are all-around great too. I live in these clothes in six varied bright colors and designs--in comfort and ease--and I don't miss my old clothes. I wash both after two wearings which is why I have 6 outfits. Not bad for a complete new wardrobe for under $200...! :) I'll have to figure out something else for winter though (I wear the kaftans spring/summer/fall with black sandals, black purse and/or a black shawl) but I'll be back to sweatshirts and loose pants for the winter--and some loose dresses I guess. I still have some somewhere but I don't want to wear anything else. BTW, I love Avidlove's packaging. Do a closeup on the photo! :) Some nice working class cooperative somewhere has struck it rich by producing a quality item. Good for them! Thank you Avidlove and Sante Classics! :)

Update to update: I ordered a brown, which I had ordered previously and loved. This is not the same brown. It is a heathered brown, which I don’t find as attractive as the previous brown. Normally I love this brand and style and have lost count of the number I have ordered. Literally. The black is a consistent color. If you like heathered fabrics, you will like this brown. I would ask the manufacturer to please describe heathered colors in that more precise way. Update: I ordered yet another color. The fabric is 95%rayon 5% Spandex. Thecolor is darkgray, which I have not ordered before. This fabric is a little more stiff for some reason. It’s generously sized, maybe to allow for shrinkage? This is an item that may vary by color, so I’ll check the fabric before purchase in future. I have purchased in several colors. I have worn as nice, lightweight summer dress with light jacket or scarf. I retire them as nighties and they are super comfy. Hand wash air dry for better wear.

My wife wears a lot of dresses, they work great for her and her body type. She is always looking for good slips to pair with her dresses. We have bought a lot of other pieces from Avidlove as they have a large catalogue of lingerie, so we know that they use great materials and their sewing is good as well. My wife is very happy with this slip. The beige color matches her well and the straps are adjustable and comfortable for her. The length is long enough to hit her right above the knee, so that works great for her as she wears skirts and dresses below there anyways. The material is so soft. We knew it would be, Avidlove always uses the best fabrics. She doesn't get bunching or rolls with the slip and it really accentuates her with the dresses she wears. we are both happy with this slip. She is 5'4", 143 lbs, 32" waist, 41" hips, 36B and the Medium is a great fit for body fit and length.

This is the second of this nightgown that I ordered because I love the first one so much I wanted a spare. HOWEVER this one is NOT Modal/Spandex. See photo of the tags: the first one I received in February 2021 is on the left; the second, received April 2021, is on the right. Advertised as Modal/Spandex but is actually 100% polyester. I could tell this one differed from the first the moment I put it on: this polyester one is clingy and hugs my curves and every lump and bump I’d rather not highlight. It’s a bit scratchier than the first version. The actual Modal/Spandex version hangs more loosely—the cut is slightly boxy—and is smoother to the touch. (For the record the tag on the first one actually says “Spendex” with two Es. But the listings say Spandex.) They are both Avidlove (a brand I quite like) and are listed with the same photos and text. I guess just check the fabric content and care tag before you try it on. Since I tried it on and it’s technically a nightgown I wouldn’t feel comfortable returning it, so I kept it even though I don’t love it. The Modal/Spandex one is so much better: silky, flattering and comfortable. I’m 5'6", 239 lbs, and am “pear shaped”, meaning I’ve got both a generous belly and a booty. I definitely recommend the size XXL, particularly given the clinginess of the polyester version.

So comfortable and great fit. I plan to get one in black and skin tone as soon as stock allows. I wear it under sheer dresses and skirts and they hang beautifully. The breathable fabric is practical and sexy...who’d thought!

Excellent fabric, perfect fit. Just Love it.

I haven’t worn this yet but needed a slip to wear under skirts and dresses, especially in the winter when I wear tights (the fabric of the skirt clings to the tights). The fabric is soft and comfortable but I haven’t worn it yet.

I purchased a small and it's still to loose. Not sure what the company uses as models to size items.

Got this to wear under a white sun dress. I could have been a bit more slippery for zero cling, but the fabric doesn't cling too much anyway and for the price I'm very happy with it
