Silence Reigns: Banished the "Tell-Tale Hum"
TDLR: Eliminates vibration noise, worth every penny. My new Fractal Design Torrent Compact's 180mm fans, started to "hum" taunting me . With an idle noise floor of 26dB, any resonance is amplified, a constant, low hum that echoed through the thin sheet metal securing the fans. Despite Fractal Design's suggestion of a 'break-in' period, 24 hours of maximum fan speed did nothing to quell the maddening vibration. An inescapable thrum that drove me to the brink of auditory madness. After testing fans, placing my ear right next to and almost coming out like van Gogh. The metal-on-metal contact of the screws was the culprit, transmitting every vibration directly to the case. With the two fans conspiring together, the humming was amplified. I Remembered seeing these while looking at fans for the build and placed an overnight order.Installation was a breeze. Removing the stock screws and pulling the silicon through their holes until they click into place. Then pulling the numb through the case screw holes. Isolating the fans and allowing them to 'float' within the case. The result? A profound, blissful silence. The 'Tell-Tale Hum' vanished, replaced by gentle breeze sounds like a soft, whispering whoosh. If you're plagued by fan vibration, these fit well, and do as they say. Banishing the humming that haunted me, and they'll do the same for you.

Super easy way to reduce fan noise
Is it overpriced? YesDoes it work? YesIs it easy to use? YesWould I buy it again? YesIf you are looking for a super simple way of mounting your fans in your case, while keeping noise down, and want it to be as easy as possible. This is your solution. Yes, you can find cheaper alternatives from other companies, but sometimes, you dont want to roll the dice when it comes to overall quality and QC. Noctua has yet to disappoint me. Yes, you pay a premium for the name, but pretty much everyone agrees that you get great quality stuff from a trusted name. I have rolled the dice multiple times with no-name white-label products many times in the past, and have lost many times, and when building my PC, I just dont want to deal with sketchy quality parts. When building your PC, you want the satisfaction of a working PC that day, not 2 weeks later after 2 separate returns and getting bad parts due to the non-existence of QC.there is also the benefit of not needing to deal with fan screws for your case fans if you use these. Why not pay a bit extra if you cant be bothered to deal with even MORE screws in a cramped metal box when assembling? They do a fantastic job of reducing noise, since they absorb any fan vibrations.

Do their job, but don't look amazing
These were fairly easy to install for most orientations of fans, but a bit annoying for some. You really need access to both sides of the panel you are mounting to for these to install easily, and that can be tough on some cases. My case doesn't provide easy access to the back of the panel where I mount the front facing fans, and I had a hard time getting these to work. Also, be ready to have some silicone sticking out of your case in some designs; my case has fans mount directly to the top and back panels, and now you can see a little silicone sticking out in both places. I cut them down a bit so they are less noticeable, but it still looks a little messy and unfinished. But they hold onto my fans well and seem to contribute a very very little bit to reducing noise. So all in all, 5 stars for function, 3 stars for install and how it looks.

Great Replacement for OEM Optiplex Rubber Grommets
I was upgrading an old Dell Optiplex 9020 computer when I discovered that the original rubber grommets for the rear case fan had fallen apart. Dell doesn't seem to offer parts for the computer anymore, so I had to look for a replacement. Fortunately, I discovered this product and was able to successfully complete the project without having to resort to using screws.

nice anti-vibration mount for case fans
Bought for a D**l that had rubber mounts from the factory that had started to break down. Replaced all four corners with these, it took some experimentation to figure out the best install method.I start by installing the long side to the fan itself. The pins will require turning to help them pull through. Next, the fan mounts can be seated in the case. Again, some twisting will be required, try to limit this so the metal of the case does not damage the short end of the mount. It's nice to have several extra sets of mounts as well. Was able to upgrade other fan mounts in other cases with the leftovers. Would buy again!

Zero Vibrations
These reduce case vibrations transmitted to the case from the fans to essentially zero. Even at High RPMs, nothing comes through. It only shaves maybe a few decibels off in the practical sense, but what I definitely notice is that I don't feel any vibrations in my desk anymore when the fans spin up to high RPMs.These also make mounting reeeally easy, which is great for reasons that most people probably would never care about. There is a somewhat significant possible downside, however. If the mounting grate on the case is too thin, then these will not really adequately hold the fans up. what I mean is that they may slide down within the grooves where the fans would be normally screwed into. they definitely won't fall off, but without some other kind of slight support, they may not easily stay EXACTLY where you want to mount them. It's honestly just a shame they cant mount onto radiators. That would be really nice, but I'm not sure how such a thing could be implemented.
