I've had these thinners through 4 grooms on a doodle. They work well and have stayed sharp. Word of warning...they will also cut your hand if you aren't very careful removing the cut hairs that stick in the blade...came in a nice case and feel good in my average sized woman's hand.

This works just as well as my expensive Chris Christianson thinner....and the price is way less

Works well, is pretty comfortable and I have small hands. Works especially well on long hair mini dachshund.
