Q: Was the coffee fresh? i've ordered tea before from amazon and it was not fresh. i'm reluctant to purchase another grocery item after that.

I am sorry but I can't confirm in this product. I bought it for my mother. However I order many other coffee products and have never hands priblem.

Q: This same blend comes in a red canister and a green canister which one is the "newest" blend?

The green is decaf. Red has caffeine. The imagine pictured that says mild is the newest version of both. I personally think the flavor hasn't changed.

Q: What is the decaf method used at Folgers? I love Folgers coffee and would like to know more about the decaff process
