Directions for Use: (1)Place about 2 inches of water to be sampled in a glass (2)Turn on the TDS meter (3)Place TDS meter in glass of water to be tested (4)Stir TDS meter in water for 10 seconds (5)Press "HOLD" button while TDS meter is in the glass of water, to hold the TDS measurement reading (6)Once you get the measurement reading, turn off the TDS meter and shake off excess water
