I always hated the round knob lock on our back door which was hard to open in winter with gloves on. This Schlage lock is so much easier to deal with. Installation was pretty straight forward. The curved ends allow for an easy grip and make it harder for open sleeves to get caught in the handle. Classy, timeless design.
