Amazing multi-use contribution to safety
I purchased one of these steps for my 80s-something mother who was having trouble getting out of her walk-in shower. I had it shipped to her house and she was able to unpack and place it with ease. I also accidentally purchased a second one that was mailed directly to me. At first I thought to return it but my husband broke his leg and it was a great non-slip bath-tub leg rest for him. Later I was working on tiling and remodeling a shower. I grabbed the step so that I would have a non-slip surface to stand on while I grouted tile. It is a little worse for the wear but both I and my builder use it often for to reach those extra few inches when we want to be safe. I could not be happier with both of them.May 2011, 1 year update. We continue to use and love these bath steps.April 2012, 2 year update. The bath steps are still in service and show no signs of wear. I was even able to clean the construction detritus off of mine so that it looks fine now.August 2012. We lost bath step in a house fire. I have just received its replacement and am very happy. I put it to use immediately. This is my favorite step of all.August 2012: I just edited my review to replace the word stool with bath step. I think of it as my little step stool since I use it for so many things.August 2014: Our step is still in use. It has survived building a house and, like its predecessor has dry wall mud and grout and other things on it that we have been able to clean off. The foam pad on the top is pitted but I would have expected far worse given its use! My mother's, after 4 years, is working well as a shower step.August 2015: Annual update! My step is still in use, hanging in there brilliantly. It resides in my closet now that construction is done. I use it to safely grab things from the higher shelves. It gets dragged out for almost every home repair project. We rebuilt my mom's shower to a roll in one but the step still looks great.July 2016: Annual Update. Still in use, still works well and still looks good. One of the best products vis a vis usability and quality I have.

Sturdy, Non-Skid, Nice Size
This is a very nice bath step. Actually I'm using this one by my bed. I'm short so my feet don't quite lay flat on the floor when I'm sitting on the side of the bed. I'm a senior and have a very bad back so this helps make me much more comfortable at night when I'm getting ready for bed. I like to apply moisturizer on my feet, legs, and arms. I can sit comfortably with this.I had purchased another one previously as an aid to step into my tub/shower. When I went back to buy another one, the price had drastically increased so I shopped around and found this one. I noticed that the blue top you see in the picture was going to come separately and I would have to apply it. I wondered why they would do that as the first one I purchased had a nice non-slip pad applied by the manufacturer. When this arrived it explained why. These steps can be stacked if you buy more than one. The non-skid "mat" only goes on the top step. Looking at the way it's made I assume that's so that the steps fit more snuggly together if there's more than one. The thin non-skid mat comes with a paper backing you just peel away. It's easy to apply. There is a very slight indentation so it's easy to line up and stick on. Seems to stick well. It's a liberal size with plenty of room for two feet if you stand on it. Sturdy and has little multiple little feet with rubber tips on them so it won't slide around on the floor. All and all, I like it and think it's a good deal.

Great product
This is advertised as a bath step but we use it as a step to get into our bed. We both have back and hip problems which makes it difficult to get into bed but with the “step risers” we can both comfortably and safely get into and out of bed with no problems. The step is very sturdy and has plenty of room to stand and/or turn around if needed.the single step is just the right amount of height we needed to make life easier. The step can be stacked together for additional height if needed.

My husband is quite a bit older than I and has bad knees. He has trouble raising his feet up to any great height and was having a problem stepping from the floor into the shower. I have some steps but they were to high as well. This product was the perfect height. I place 2 just outside the shower and 1 in front of them. Using this method he is stepping up just the height of the 1 step and repeating it to the next step into the shower. The steps are well made out of light weight plastic (I think). They are easy to lift and move from place to place, they support him (over 200 lbs) without any give, shaking, etc., and they have worked out great for our needs. We would both highly recommend this product.

Recommend these steps for more than just the bathroom.
I'm facing both hip replacements , one knee and probably the other knee as well. Not being able to lift my legs over the edge of the tub to take a shower is absolutely horrible.I ordered two of these steps. One for the outside and one for the inside of the tub. It's still a little difficult but is so much safer having these to use. My tub is extremely old and is very curved on the inside bottom. I was worried that the step inside the tub might tip or shift, it doesn't.The steps are wide enough for comfort and sturdy enough to not wobble or slide.I'm thinking of purchasing more of these for use in other parts of my home. They seem much more solid and safer than some of the little stool-type ladders designed for kitchens, etc.. I purchased these at $33.00 each so I'm hoping that the price doesn't increase by the time I'm ready to re order.

Idealworks Bath Step
idealworks bath step is ideal for me as I can use it to help me wherever I need a bit more height as I do to get into bed. It is sturdy and light weight so making it portable to use elsewhere in the house for anyone with leg or hip problems that require a half step sometimes. So yes I would recommend this without a doubt. I also understand it is stackable if you should require more so therefore good value for money. It is also easy to keep clean and the pad that sticks on the top is nice to step on with bare feet.
