beautiful lights, i dont know if this was just in my box or if this is a recurring event but there was a blade in the bottom of my box that cut me completely when i pulled the item out

This is my 4th purchase.....>These are as beautiful as advertised; simply put. I don't need to embellish too much, for first time buyers: I purchased them for for my sunroom in the evening. I placed them strategically to glow in and outdoors at night. They are visually exactly as advertised when it comes to the illuminating the scene you're creating.They are however, exactly as advertised... the hooks that hold them in sequence are easy to open but occasionally will pull open if you’re rough handling it to a surface or you pull the cords apart too fast when opening and thereafter . If you have nothing to fit the exact circumference of those small plastic hooks all along the length you will need to improvise.!!! Sticky tack on the wall instead of nails in your drywall etc, it depends on your home and what it's used for.But, taking the hooks off is a BENEFIT for those wishing for draping over topiary and things of the like. I (But they are NOT waterproof so plan accordingly)I don't have a fancy "Snow White GPS mirror" like in the video, but I'm sure I'll think of more ideas.The colors are gorgeous. Especially behind drapes as advertised.The settings are "okay" on the remote. The buttons press soft but need firm; not too firm it's just a pc board under some rubber and melded plastics. But durable enough for this much review however you're not buying a brand new flat screen with loads of durability so be gentle with it.One purchase, the options on the remote didn't work correctly (obviously I'd owned a couple by then). 4 of the buttons did what other buttons should have done, so on. I've had this experience with other companies. It's a fault in the chip. Either way I've thoroughly enjoyed them, stuff happens sometimes & I got it replaced after sending it back.If you are purchasing these for an event they should really be perfect. Choice quality for the price. Easy to use and very fun! What you expect but more impressive.If you are purchasing these for home, office, etc. decor make sure they will be in a stable place, and secured as such. A spa would benefit from this particular brand maybe, but the hooks just suck. There really is no other option thats so universal, though.My personal complaint? I hope the manufacturers' fix is the USB port. It has the FLIMSIEST of protective covers. Now to be logical mass production is an epic scale, however the glue they use to seal the cover of the chip is magnificently flawed. It splits apart. Not simply by handling it, but by use. Plugging it in & out. Very few uses so be delicate after it's "not new".If the cover comes off it's ruined, won't work and you'll be back here. a speck of water from humidity or being gently tapped...So, overall it's a 3 Star quality I wish i could say 4.Either way have fun with them. The different settings are as advertised & fun. That's why I didn’t go into that. Typical wave-like lights, glittering, party-style, & solid so on.(NO BRIGHTNESS OR FREQUENCY OPTIONS) There are timer options, though. Again they are beautiful. They just need to work on the protection cover.

I had bought these a while back and absolutely loved my first curtain lights, so I decided to buy them again. Even though I literally hit “buy again” and I was supposed to get the exact same product, I did not. The settings were different, the colors slightly off in comparison. What I loved the most the first time was the flowy-like pastel color setting and the second curtains I bought didn’t have either the colors nor that specific kind of setting. It was really disappointing considering I passed on cheaper options for these specific characteristics. All in all they’re the same curtain lights everyone sells. If you can find a cheaper option go with that, will be the all the same.

This is just what I was looking for to brighten up a room!I considered getting 2 strands so I would have only 6in between; firstly started with one to make sure i like it 👍 - and I will be getting a 2nd!The USB plug unit did get hot when I first used it, so I have a mini fan blowing in it and it hasn't gotten warm since.The remote has to be in direct line with the USB plug, so I haven't fully figured out my final set up. I also show the top, so you consider adding fabric or garland to cover
