I’ve tried so many moisturizers and always come back to Vanicream. It isn’t “sexy,” but it is tried and true. My skin is dry, sensitive, and acne-prone, and I use acne treatments morning and night, so I wasn’t sure if this lotion would be moisturizing enough. It has been perfect, though; I layer a hyaluronic acid serum in the morning and seal it in with this, and my skin stays calm and hydrated without feeling greasy. It’s lightweight, fragrance-free, and has never broken me out or caused irritation. I even used it on a new healing tattoo and it worked great without stinging or clogging. I love that it’s affordable, easy to find, and free of common irritants like dyes, fragrance, parabens, and formaldehyde. The 16 oz pump is perfect for home use, and I keep the 3 oz travel size in my bag so I always have it with me. If you need something gentle, simple, and effective, this is a great everyday moisturizer.

This lotion is simple but effective. Probably the most gentle lotion out there. I do not use it on my face as i have oily and acne prone skin, this would be too occlusive as an night cream but when my skin is reactive this is the safest moisturizer to put on my sensitive skin. It also makes a perfect hand cream, not greasy at all! This would be perfect for normal/dry sensitive skin.

At my advanced age, I still have acne issues! Ugh! Does it ever stop? I needed a new face wash - one that is non-medicated because I recently started using Tretinoin again, which dries out my face. That meant I also needed a moisturizer. Vanicream to the rescue! First let me say I love, love, love the Vanicream Gentle Facial Cleanser. It is the most gentle yet effective face wash I've ever used - like EVER! My face is totally clean after using, but it doesn't dry out my skin. After washing, I apply the Tretinoin and a light layer of the Vanicream Moisturing Lotion. My face feels wonderful, and the Vanicream products do not clog my pores! I also purchased the Vanicream cream moisturizer which is too heavy for my face. However, it's great for my dry hands and elbows, especially during the winter months. I wish I had known about Vanicream years ago!!! Highly recommend!

Very light, smooth application that absorbs quickly. Zero smell, and not sticky or greasy. Keeps skin soft and hydrated while keeping my skin irritation free! Minimal ingredients and cleaner than most. Daily applications and so far it’s lasted me about two months. Not out yet and I use it all day for my hands as well. Great price for the amount you get.

My dermatologist recommended this moisturizer, and it truly is amazing. I’ve been having issues with my skin—my face has developed a rosacea rash—and this product is so gentle. The texture is light, it absorbs well, and it’s fragrance-free. A little goes a long way on my face, but I use a bit more on my hands since they’re much drier. Paired with the facial cleanser, this moisturizer is unbeatable.

I have very sensitive, cystic acne prone skin. This has been a lifesaver for me. It’s non-comedogenic, no fragrance or extra things that are unneeded for your skin. This has helped to repair my skin barrier in a big way. Very good, simple moisturizer for those with sensitive or acne prone skin.

I have acne, cystic acne to be specific, and this lotion is the best. It is not too oily or thick. It is just the perfect amount and it does not break me out like others I have tried. The absolute best!

I'm always trying different lotions when I run out of the previous choice, and I think this one is a winner. I bought the face moisturizer also. Both are great and most likely will be re-ordered when needed. The lotions are light and go on smoothly, not at all greasy and heavy. I can tell it's still there after a long day, no itching from this cold dry winter air.

I was hesitant to buy this as I heard a lot of bad things about petrolatum product. To my surprise, it's very good. Calms my red, flaking skin due to seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis. It's cheap too.
