If you are looking for a very functional tool that will help you to grip pans from the oven, then this is that tool. It is made of a strong nylon material that keeps it from melting. It also has a round molded indention at the deep part of the jaws which is perfect for sliding the shelf out of the oven. It also works in the toaster oven. I love it and I would buy it again if it suddenly walked away from my kitchen.

Works great on a small, foil-lined Stainless Steel pan I broil fish on. No more finger burns ! ! !

We purchased some cheap, and I mean cheap, metal version of these, and regretted it. These however have been beautiful to work with, and with their sturdy design we've rarely had any hesitation while moving pizza from the oven to the prep table. The only reason for 4 stars is that they don't work so well on some of our older pans where the sides have been bent down and the lip is not at the angle it used to be at. These work best on pans with lips closer to 90 degrees, but they are still very nice.

we bought these because we bought new, teflon coated pans and did not want to scratch them. these are so awkward to use and make it very difficult to grab the pizza pans from the oven. when you do finally grab the pan edge, it is very uncomfortable and unstable and you risk dropping the pan.

Its not a bad product when lifting lighter pans, but when i try to lift heavier pans this nylon gripper gets real flexable and feels like its losing grip! Still better then the metal grippers that either bend or break after a month of use. Very unhappy this this product and I dont recomend this product to anyone who has to grab heavy pan out of a oven!
