So clean
I recently cleaned my 1985 Porsche 944 and tried GUNK CEB1 Engine Bay Cleaner, which turned out to be a game changer. The pleasant scent and easy-to-use spray nozzle impressed me right away. My engine bay, previously grimy and dusty, transformed after spraying the cleaner generously, letting it sit for a few minutes, and then gently scrubbing it before rinsing. The results were incredible—the grease and grime disappeared completely! I love that GUNK CEB1 is safe for various surfaces, including the plastic and rubber components in my vintage car, without causing any fading or damage. Now, my engine bay looks immaculate, making me more confident in its performance, and I’m ready to show it off at car shows or during weekend drives. If you want to refresh your engine bay, I highly recommend giving GUNK CEB1 a try; it made my Porsche shine like never before, and I couldn’t be happier!

Great results with proper application
I've used many products over the years as an engine dressing and I have to say this is one of my favorites when applied correctly. I think the directions on the can leave out some necessary steps to avoid dust/gunk build up from over application, and a proper looking clean and Satin look. For engine dressings in the past I have used ; CDI Engine Detailer, Optimum Opti-bond gel applied with an air gun, Ultima Trim and tire shine, Chemical guys Barebones, Carpro Pearl, and I'm sure others I'm forgetting.I first clean the engine bay, once it's cooled down, by spraying an all purpose degreaser ( Optimum Power Clean 3:1) all over and scrubbing any build up areas. Then rinse with the hose on the shower spray pattern, making sure not to directly spray into electrical connectors and components. Then I use a leaf blower to dry and blow all the water out the areas it pools up. With it still semi wet I lightly mist the entire bay with the can a out 2-3ft away. At this point it will look wet and greasy. Let that dwell for about 10 minutes then come back with a microfiber or paper towels and wipe the excess off . Really I wipe down everything that I can. This is key to avoid excess product that will attract and hold dust.It will still be really wet looking at this point, but no pooling of the detailer should remain. After a few heat cycles it will even out and you will have a 'like new' Satin sheen on all plastics/covers and a slight gloss on metal parts. Looks like a cars engine bay with 0 miles on it when done this way. Not a slick, sloppy wet and greasy engine bay like you see on used car lots. Future cleanings area easy as it does seem to create a barrier for the dust/grime to slide right off.I noticed on the ingredients it has D-Limonene, which is a citrus derived cleaner(among other uses) , and gives the detailer its scent, which I find to be the only con of the product. Think citrus mixed with motor oil as the scent to describe this product. However it does go away after a few drives. Will purchase again! See photo for my engine bay a week after application.

Works good smell is not so great.
I used it and the smell is very annoying. Neither me nor my girlfriend liked it. Once you clean the engine bay, some of the smell will come into the cab. The nozzle doesn't spray a consistent mist and it's hard to get an even spray all around. Other than that the engine bay looked amazing. As far as making it shine it did great. If you don't mind the weak lemon smell you're gonna like this.

Works as expected. Must be careful with water and engine parts

Great shine but difficult to find in stock.
Suggest to use the cleaner first and spray over the engine while cold. Once sprayed turn on the engine for a few minutes. Turn off the engine and wipe off excess spray.Leaves a very shiny look on the engine bay.

Best secret rustproofing ever!
This product is more or less a distilled soybean oil, so if it gets on anything remotely hot, it will start smelling like a rancid grease fire. But here's the cool thing: Organic oils like this will polymerize and form a thin solid film - this is how oiling butcher blocks, trunks/instrument cases, and other fine woodworking pieces protects the wood from weathering. What it will also protect is underbody fasteners and exposed metal for those of us who live in road salt latitudes. Hose down the bottom of your car and, after smelling like a hood Burger King burned to the ground when things heat up, this product will form a light brown film on most surfaces, becoming a light-duty undercoat. It will wash off instantly with solvents if you need to service something. Give it a quick re-blast every few months.I have a bunch of exhaust/muffler studs and bolts paved over with this stuff from years ago and they came right back off, even after repeated Boston winters.
