Intial inspection: quality mid weight pants. Not thermal but work well as a bottom layer. They have impressive double stiching on the seems. Looked very durable. The sheerness of the fabrice 88% polyester 12% spandex keeps the tight and in place. Noy a huge fan of colors because i wear these as a base layer although the red was a true red with black stichting while the black was black with black stiching. Only con is i had to go up a size to a medium and the legs were a bit long. The fit is comfortable I've already ordered a second 2 pack to gwt me through the winter. These are not lined fleece lined and are comfrtable to wear under another layer. If your wanting a little more warmth stick to a lined pair as these worked well in 25 degree weather but i don't believe they would warm enough for sub zero conditions.

Very comfortable, does not pinch or bunch up at knees or crotch. Has firm but light compression. I would not describe these as "compression" pants. Nice in cold weather. For work-outs, or cold weather under garment, nice. As a "compression" option, and you are looking for something to help for swollen legs or such it is not an extreme compression, rather a overall gentle and firm squeeze. For many (like me) this is a positive. When I wear Ted hose I can only wear them for a couple hours at a time, a pain, for me, to put on and off. Bunch up at ankles and knees, causing discomfort. These are not like compression (Ted) hose from hospitals, I kinda like these more. Easy on and off, good firm compression. I can wear them all day. Pros: Comfortable Nice firm non restrictive comfortable compression. Does not bunch up or squeeze at joints and crotch. Does not retain moisture (sweat, not necessarily wicked away, but for me close enough) Does not hinder movement, especially at joints Cons: Not super squeeze ultracompression like ted hose

These fit great. I have a 32” waist and purchased mediums. They are perfect for when temps are between 40 and 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Warmer than 70 just wear shorts, colder than 40, use the thermal version.
