I use this product to view the wildlife in my yard and neighborhood. I love that it’s lightweight, fits in a coat pocket and can be used one handed. I can quickly aim, zoom in, focus and enjoy the view all while using one hand (I’m often walking the dog while doing this). I was surprised and thrilled at how far away I could spot a Great Blue Heron sitting in the reservoir. It also has a convenient feature of using your phone camera to take a picture of what you see thru the monocular. The phone easily attaches to the monocular with the included phone holder that adjusts to fit most phones. There is also an included tripod that very easily attaches to the monocular to hold the phone camera steady. When using the phone camera, I definitely needed both hands. The pictures I included in this review show the view thru the monocular lense without zooming in on the phone (which is why you can see the black circle framing the shot). But you can zoom in with your phone camera to get even closer to the object and get a fantastic shot without any black frame. This monocular will come with us on every walk and hike. Purchased and Received the Monocular Telescope around January 6, 2021.I wasn’t able to upload my review video, so in exchanged a few pictures were also captured from the video taken the day I got the package in the mail.I loved the sleek and velvety feel of the Monocular carry pouch.Each accessory served a valuable purpose.You won’t ever lose your Monocular when in use of the strap.The Phone mount and strap came in handy for more than just tripod usage and phone safety.I appreciated the fact that so many items came with the product.Thank you always.!!As the title reads, I took a star because I wasn’t able to VIEW the STARS through my monocular. My whole purpose of purchasing was to test out the device and to view the stars, moon, sun, birds, insects, etc..Not long after purchasing, my niece broken the phone mount, so I was no longer able to connect Monocular to my phone to take pictures, so sadly it’s been sitting for months now, not being used..But another neat way to use ONE of the accessories is..The Tripod stand doubles as a great replacement Mallet for the Tibetan Singing Bowl., beautiful sounds produced.!Try it out and let me know what YOU think.!!

This is easy to use and set up and you can get really good pics of the moon, stars and rocket launches if you live in Florida. Have fun!

Purchased for an upcoming trip to some national parks, along with several other binoculars. This is intended to be used as a smartphone "zoom" and an easy way for our toddler to see animals that are far away. I have a Barska 10x binocular (Storm), Tasco 10x compact binocular, and a Barska 8x compact binocular. When compared, the 12x monocular magnifies on par with the 8x. Maybe slightly more, but only by a little. The 10x (Barska & Tasco) both magnify a lot more, and comparable to each other.That being said, we're using it for the ease of a toddler and the smartphone attachment.You get what you pay for. It does focus easily and handles well. It's nice and compact as well. Magnification is soft outside of the center of the lens, but at the center it is fairly clear and sharp.Smartphone adapter takes a little work to get it in the "sweet spot" but when placed on a tripod it should get average photos of distant objects. You will have to "zoom" the camera on the phone to get rid of the ring.

This is such a great sized monoscope! Not heavy at all, easily fits in my hand. It can fit into a pocket or a purse for travel too. Everything was packed nicely and carefully. The scope itself was wrapped in a velvet bag, then in plastic. It came with a lens cloth to clean, a wristband to attach for carrying safety, a cute tiny tripod no taller than my hand, and an adjustable cell phone holder. The scope was simple to set up and use. I was quite impressed with the range of viewing! If you're a birdwatcher or nature lover, I suggest putting it on the tripod and letting it sit in one area to view daily. When using with your phone, put the grabber on your phone first and line up the hole with your camera lens, before screwing on the monoscope. Be careful... It's a little finicky to line up the threads just right but not too tough. Don't zoom your camera.... Zoom the scope. This will be a great thing to use at the nature preserve to watch the wildlife on the beach! I'm happy with this item!

I purchased this Monocular Telescope to watch snow in the park out of my window. I use thisto watch children making snowman at far distance at the center of park and skyline of large buildings from my window.This is very light weight and comes in handy with a tripod stand and a bracket to connect your phone. It easy very easy to adjust the tripod and phone with telescope and click a clear picture of a distant object.Overall I am very happy with this product, I am planning to go for bird watching during summer, It would be of great use. I would highly recommend this product for taking distant still picture, bird watching, skyline buildings camping etc.

Its easy to use but takes horrible photos? I initially purchased this to look for events such as: planets aligning etc. The real bummer is that you absolutely cannot see anything at night with these. It said in the description that you could as long as it wasn't pitch black, but there is no refraction at all. I might have to return this one and look for a better option?
