My cat isn’t really fond of playing with this sadly, but it seems like a durable cat toy. One the occassions that she does play with it, it seems to hold up to her kicking and biting. It’s made of a rope-like material (like that a cat tree would be) around a silvervine stick with tassles at the side. I will say the tassels come out, even though she barely plays with it.I also believe it would be good for cleaning teeth as the rope on it is rough enough. After a month, the rope has not uncoiled yet.

Cats like it but I took the very small bell off.....too much of a choking hazard.

My one cat absolutely loves these. He doesn’t bother with the center stick or the little dangly thing, but he will chew the hay-like ends like crazy, especially when stressed.I only wish they lasted longer (or were a better price to keep restocking), he chews them down very quick.I’ve rebought from this listing at least four times now — I’ve been tempted by other listings with better costs, but the “hay” part is longer on this brand’s than any others I’ve looked at.

I have two cats; one is a young (3) neutered male that gets into trouble constantly and is high energy. He attacked and thoroughly enjoyed this toy for about 30-40 minutes. My other cat is a geriatric spayed female with little energy. She sat on this and rubbed her face on it and looked rather happy - this is about a big a demonstration of approval she will give anything other than live prey. I am pleased with the purchase, they both gave it their own form of paws up. Also - I am a veterinarian - I consider this product safe. Shipped very fast.

The Silverine in this toy is what must make my cat love it soooo much!

My cats had terrible plaque and horrendous bad breath. You could smell their breath from across the room. I was struggling with the idea of taking them to the vet to get their teeth and gums scaled and cleaned, but, because it requires anesthesia And they are both old? I wasn't comfortable with it - they are terrified of the vets office, and anesthesia can be dangerous; deadly even. I read somewhere that these silvervine sticks could help I bought a couple. The worst thing that could happen is they would have yet another toy that they will probably get bored with after a day or two. LolAs far as a toy goes? They just love this one. It seems to excite them AND? They still love it!! After a few weeks! They are very attached to their silvervine sticks (or voodoo sticks as my boyfriend likes to call them.)But what the sticks did for their teeth and gums needs to be shared. They no longer are in pain they are no longer rubbing their gums against the furniture and their breath is sweet. No bad breath AT ALL! THEY WORK! The sticks are all natural and they are fun for the cats! It’s a win-win!!I am very thankful that I don’t have to put the cats under anesthesia, they are family - they are loved - and it can be dangerous. And let’s not forget about, the huge veterinarian bill that would have to be paid. Gum and teeth scaling is not an inexpensive procedure.

Hunter my cat loved these but he did tear them up pretty quickly but I guess that's the point. I do like that they are made with products that are not harmful to his tummy and do not make a mess everywhere. I had bought another similar product previously that had cork in the middle. What a mess and probably not good for the tummy either. I will be buying more of these.
