Fairly impressed…
Not bad at all for a reasonably priced liner pencil..Finding a “water-line” pencil in a darker shade of purple proved harder than I thought it’d be. I have another brand I like but they only carry the standard black or brown now.Julip to the “rescue”!I prefer to apply some liner to the water-line of my lashes (inside the lash line), because my lashes are short and somewhat sparse - particularly my bottom lashes. Applying liner to the water-line helps to fill them out a bit.I have fairly sensitive eyes and this didn’t sting or irritate. It’s held up well, with only a small amount of “wash-out” into the inner eye, near the tear duct - and that was only shortly after application - the wash-out didn’t continue. As it was my first application, I may have been a bit too heavy-handed.I haven’t used this yet, for lining the outer lid, but did apply some lines to the edge of my palm to test its hold, precision, smoothness, and smudging. So… it applied smoothly without “skipping”, smudged well if done immediately after application, the line stayed crisp if allowed to set.The precision will really depend on your sharpener and how pointed you keep the tip - with a crisp point, the line was well defined.

Soft but stays!
These liners are very pigmented and soft and glide on super smoothly, but stay in place really well, whether by themselves or layered. I found that they set - or at least don’t smudge- very quickly. Last all day without any smudging or fading.I put mine in the freezer before I sharpen them.I have very cool coloring and bought the smoked plum, taupe, soft black, and dark grey-brown shade. The smoked plum and soft black are my favorites - really intense color. Smoked plum is a very subtle dark purple - you can wear it to work without people wondering why you’re bringing back the 80s. I was lucky enough to get these on a major sale, but will probably buy more because they’re just that good!!

Irritated my eyes, but the colors are lovely and vibrant.
The eyeliner comes in beautiful colors and glides on well, also stays on well. But unfortunately the product really irritated my eyes. I'm careful to avoid the inner lid areas, so it wasn't that the product got inside of my eyes. It just made my eyes itch and water all day until I removed it. If you have sensitive eyes I would not recommend this product. I should note that my eye sensitivity could be age-related, as I'm in my 60's. Personally, I do not have this problem when I wear Physician's Formula's kohl eyeliners, but I do when I wear Neutrogena kohl eyeliner.

Beautiful color - Dynamic eyeliner
Excellent consistency and exact color match. The liner has a beautiful finish without stickiness and delivers dynamic durability and wearability. I have worn it as a subtle touch on the lower waterline to help my deep brown eyes pop a bit. I have also worn it more boldly as a cat-eye line and enjoyed both looks. Bonus, as someone with more mature eyes, this liner does not seep like some other brands do over time. Great product at a great value.

Good make up for older women
As an older woman with oily skin, I really like this gel liner! I use it to tight line my eye liner and it works really great and keeps an skinny tight point! As an older woman, we need different products to adjust to our skin and I find this one works well for me!

Smooth, Creamy and Stays put
I really like this eyeliner pencil. It is smooth and creamy. It doesn't move after you put it on, no smudging or ending up in the creases of your eyes. Thats important for someone with a few wrinkles going on. I got one with a little sparkle and its just enough that the color is what you see not glitter eyes. I have multiple colors and I like them all. The cost for what you get is on point.

Difficult to Sharpen
I've been using a couple of these pencils for a few years and like that they're long lasting and go on smooth, initially. The shimmery olive color is on the lighter side, and after a while it stopped transferring color much at all. I have to heat it with a lighter to soften it back up. *My biggest issue with these is the hardwood they're made of. When sharpening it's difficult to get smooth results like with other eye pencils. The wood gets stuck in the blade and I have to remove it, reposition, and try again multiple times. A soft wood would make it loads easier to sharpen!!

Amethyst won't sharpen, but color is perfect
5 stars for great ("Amethyst" fuschia/purple) color, just like shown!2 stars for the softness of the color part of pencil. Not much diff than a lipstick... but this is an eye pencil & still needs to be sharpened. The outer part of pencil is HARD plastic, with the siftness of color, pretty impossible to sharpen! You waste a ton of color trying to sharpen. I bought another color (blue/green) of same brand & it's color is normal hardness, fine to sharpen. I put the amethyst one in the fridge to harden somewhat & it works kinda okay. Not great. But I love the color, so one lives in fridge, other in makeup bag until I need to sharpen. 3.5 stars
