Safariland 7360 7TS ALS/SLS Mid-Ride Duty Rated Level III Retention Holster

Real good duty holster. I bought one because I do armed security and to pass the armed test I needed a holster for my SIG P320 X Compact (if you have a X CARRY or normal p320 it should fit as the 320 slides are pretty much the same) that had level 3 retention. And I can honestly say after stressfully looking for a good holster for my work, this one was the best. A bit bulky but it’s to be expected for a duty holster that you need to rely on to protect your firearm from being taken. It has 3 levels of retention but really it should be 4. It has the normal strap to hold your gun in which is 1 level, 2 it has a hood cover for your thumb so no perp can get to the operation of the holster say if you were knockout or in a struggle, 3 it has a slide lock mechanism as expected it locks your gun with the slide even if the strap is down and a button has to be pushed back to get it out which is were the thumb cover comes in to protect it, but here’s why it’s a 4 in my opinion in order to unlock the slide lock system you have to push the button for the strap forward which again the strap itself is already one level of retention, and then push a lever backward to unlock the slide system itself as you draw. Now this can be a hassle for someone who’s never really used a duty holster with this system but again this is important for the protection of your firearm and with some practice you’ll be able to draw just as quick with any other holster you are use to. Overall a great duty holster. With proven protection. And well made as well comfortable on a belt.

Overall, this is a very high quality and reliable holster. After you get past the initial learning curve with the ALS and SLS retention systems, you can unholster and get on target relatively quickly. In terms of retention, it holds my Glock 19 gen 5 with a TLR-7 safely and securely with very minimal vertical play. There is also an option to adjust the force of retention of the weapon in the holster. I really like the belt-loop style attachment as it can easily be put on or removed. And with this attachment you can easily adjust the cant with loosening a few hex screws (Allen wrench included), which was especially useful as I could make it a neutral cant as opposed to the default positive cant that it initially comes as. My only complaint was that there is a plastic piece that covers the ALS/SLS releases for more security, but I found it a little flimsy. At the end of the day, I’d say this holster is a great value and I can see it lasting for many years to come. There is a reason why this holster and Safariland holsters in general are an industry standard and utilized by a majority of LEAs and Militaries. I would definitely trust my life with this holster.

It arrived a lost fast than originally scheduled and that worked in my favor. As soon as it arrived, I took my firearm (Glock 19 Gen 4) and tried it to be sure it fit. It worked perfectly. It comes with an adjustment key and I had to make no adjustments. Fits snug but easy smooth draw. I put it on my duty belt and started working with it. The back strap release was a little stiff with it being new that be expected, but loosened up after a few times of working with it. The inner release switch is well hidden and very accessible to be able to do quick draw with slight slide if the thumb from the back strap release switch. I have 2 duty belts for different jobs. I will be ordering a 2nd one to replace my other older holster. I have friends who work security and I have told them about it.

Super good quality the absolute best for securing your gun its reliable and it functions flawless. Very very fast release does not slow my draw down with some practice I can draw from this holster as fast as my open unsecured holster. When I open carry in public this safriland holster is my only number one choice, I know nobody is getting my gun without my say so.
