Anne Boleyn Costume for Women, Renaissance Style Multicolored Queen of England Halloween Costume

I first ordered this in a large and it was really big. I’m a busty 5’1”and usually wear a 10/12 so i ordered the large based on measurements provided in the size chart. I sent it back and hesitantly ordered the small. Well, it came today and it fits like it was made for me! Sleeve length, gown length, just perfect! I’ve purchased numerous costumes over the years for similar prices and they were flimsy. I can’t believe the tapestry on this dress. It’s beautiful. The velvet material is more of a stretchy velour and it’s comfortable as well as looks nice. The dress also zipped with ease, and I had no issues with it becoming stuck on the way up or down. I definitely recommend this item.

Not just a low end costume, but really a beautiful renaissance costume that will last for years. I'm very impressed with the quality of this costume.

I bought this for Halloween as a couple's costume (King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn). Heavy thick material, well stitched, surprisingly comfortable. It comes with a detached black crinoline to give the skirt added fullness. I sized up being afraid it would be too tight in the bust or waist, but there is a very slight stretch to the fabric so I would probably have been better off getting my true size. I am 5'2" and length was not TOO long. This is nothing like those thin shabby costumes you get at a Halloween shop. This is high enough quality for a theatrical performance or day at the Ren Faire. The dress DOES have a pretty substantial train, so in cramped quarters I did get stepped on a few times, but I am pretty short, so I expected it.

Wow. This isn't some cheap Halloween costume outfit. High quality, heavy, durable fabric, great fit.

I bought this because I knew I couldn't buy the fabric for the cost of the costume. But the textiles are so elegant and luxurious for a costume I haven't found anything since I worked in the opera. Definitely worth buying and not a disposable costume but a real garment.

The material is quality, comes with a petticoat, and is actually very comfortable and roomy. This is the best costume I’ve purchased in years. I bought this a year ago in October of 2019. The dress smelled weird, so I washed... The decorations came off of it in the washer, the skirt shrunk, and the sleeves are long.One thing I can say is "it floats across the room." Women were to look as if they were floating and not walking across a room. Almost like a ghost. I don't remember the exact words or fact about it. The head band is easily breakable.

High quality fabric, but the holes at the end of the sleeves are TINY. I have small hands and could just barely get my hands in and back out. I'll have to remove several stitches. As other purchasers said, the dress runs large. I'm 5'4" 130 pounds and got a small. I'll have to take the waist in at least 3 inches. Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

This costume is gorgeous, perfect for what I need. Unlike most costumes which are very cheaply made this is good quality. However, the zip was rubbish... it broke the first time I put it on. Given that it was shipped from the US and I wouldn't have had time to send back and receive another, I didn't bother to return it and had a replacement zip put in myself.It's a lovely outfit, shame about the broken zip.

Overall I am very happy. The dress is amazing! I did have to pay an extra 48 dollars for customs and also had to purchase a glue gun to fix the headpiece as the material was almost completed detached from the headband. Pearls had also fell off the headpiece as well as the first row of pearls pictured is completely missing. I ordered a large and it is perfect. I’m 5’.3” and 160lbs.
