A game changer and time saver.
Great! These have fold down pins with eyelets, which makes for easy soldering, or even temp testing connections. My eyes are not what they used to be, that feature alone made theseamazing. The quality is solid. The spring on the end is a bit to big, but that can be corrected with a crimp. I will never buy any other TRRS connector again after using these. If you hate making cables because of the pain of soldering them, these will take some of that pain away.

Solid plugs, but make sure you have shrink tubing to insulate conductors from shell
Use these TRRS plugs to construct adaptor cables allowing routing of COM signal to an analog mixing board. Was able to easily break off the S conductor attachment point, as I only needed TRR connections for my application. Soldering was simple enough with a fine-tip iron; I used high heat for a very quick soldering job that didn't melt plastic insulating rings. Tip conductor has its own solder tab, so soldering this conductor was easy.All in all, product is good. No misalignment of conductors as others have described.Since case is metal, use of insulating heat shrink tube over conductors is highly recommended. None supplied with these plugs, so pick some up before you assemble your cables.

Works Ok, could be better.
The materials are good and these would have been a great product but the actual jack piece it slightly too long and the poles on some of them aren't straight. For them to work you'll need to rotate them when you're using it until the sound comes in clear. I will say after using it for a week or so everything seemed to straighten out and adjust so that you don't need to fix it as much. But even after that they don't function the exact way you want. Overall they work if you're alright with something that you need to adjust every now and then. The biggest pro is that they are super easy to solder.

Good value, worked as expected.
It came promptly. 2 days from order date.Package appeared as shown and described.Easy to solder, would be nice if it came shrink tube. I had some, so it worked ok.Tested with music and calls from iphone. Worked great on my xbox game as well.It is a bit long as described in other review. See pic.Hope it last long.đź‘Ťđź‘Ť

Crap product, waste of time.
These plugs were a waste of time and money. I ordered them so I could repair a gaming headset (my favorite of all time) that is no longer in production. Upon receiving these plugs, I noticed that the trrs (tip, ring, ring, sleeve) shafts we’re slightly bent on all five plugs. Since there are none to be found here locally, I proceeded to waste an hour (and considerable frustration) soldering two different plugs, one after the other onto my $150 headset only to tint that while my soldering job was solid, the connection in the jack/controller was crappy. Even after the repair, I still had to wiggle and spin the plug in the jack to make any connection and when it would connect, I would get audio but no mic or mic but no audio. Again, my soldering job was solid. Upon further inspection I noticed that not only were the shafts bent but there were tiny hairline gaps between the poles (rings) and I can only deduce that the poor connection is the result of the shafts being bent and not connecting with all the points in the jack properly. PLEASE don’t waste your time or money on these. They won’t work at all. All I’ve done with these is further damage my headset.

Flawed design with plug being too long, solder points can rotate and short out
They looked and felt pretty good when I received them. However, there are a few flaws:1. The plug is longer than standard 3.5mm TRRS plug, leading to connectivity issues.2. The tab-holed soldering points should make for easy soldering, but solder would not stick to the tab, no matter how much solder flux I put on it to prep it. It required manual sanding to take off some of the coating on the tab (nickel plate?) before I could properly tin the tab for soldering.3. The tabs can and will rotate along with the tips/rings, and cause shorts/malfunction.Overall its seems like a good product but it has a significantly flawed design. I hope they can improve it to fix these issues, since it COULD be an excellent product.
