However, after losing their parents in an accident, the two must move in with their grandfather. All seems peaceful and familiar. However, beneath the surface is a secret promise that the twins made with each other long ago, the whereabouts of an important lost item, and the real reason they chose to come back here.

Fascinating character study
A good multi-ending story with depth. Although the family situation is disturbing the characters come to life and make an emotional statement.

Controversial but sweet, entertaining, and thought provoking... at least the latter episodes.
One of the other reviewers made reference to the show having a disturbing family situation. I'd like to clarify what this disturbing family situation is as it is arguably not the only the most controversial aspect of this anime but also it's saving grace.First, I must preface by explaining the shows original incarnation. This anime was adapted from an adult visual novel with branching paths, meaning you could choose to "hook up" with different girls and ultimately date and/or have sex with them. The anime attempts to recreate this experience by having multiple endings which focus on different arcs. Basically three or four episodes will focus on the protagonist hooking up with one girl. After successful "hookup", the show will switch to a different girl. This makes the anime feel somewhat disjointed as as their is only a small amount of continuity as the show progressives. It is the final arc which brings me to the "disturbing family situation". I don't think this is a spoiler since if you look this up on any anime database site, the tags will give it away as it is part of the show (and to some the appeal). So don't read this if you are afraid of a spoiler but like I said I don't think it is one. It should be obvious this is coming due to the tags and after the introduction to some of the characters in the first episode.POTENTIAL SPOILER START:Anyway, the family situation is incest. Blood related twin brother and sister incest with explicit sex scenes and lot's of nudity. This isn't hentai level sex as they don't show any genitalia, but it leaves very little to the imagination.Truth be told, Sora's arc (the protagonists twin sister) is arguably the best. As I said earlier, it is the saving grace of show. This is in part because the show takes a mature and controversial subject matter and deals with it in a fairly intelligent manner. This isn't just explicit incest sex for the sake of explicit incest sex. The two siblings quickly discover such a taboo relationship is not all flowers and sunshine. There are consequences for going against the expectations of society and it can bring hurt to not only those directly involved but those around you. At the same time, it also makes clear that lying to yourself and your heart can bring just as much pain and that sometimes you just need to embrace your feelings. This final arc also helps the show recover from it's disjointed story telling. Not only does the show end with Sora's arc so it ultimately feels like she was his choice of the harem but it is actually a somewhat sweet story about unfettered love and overcoming the expectations of society. Quite frankly, it feels as if the final arc is the show proper and all the previous episodes were just disconnected OVAs or something. The last set of episodes could almost stand on their own as the show (I still recommend watching the previous episodes as they do fill in some context for the later episodes). All the previous arcs quickly go to the back of your mind as you become genuinely interested in the fate of the two siblings. It would have been interesting to see what this show could have done if it had soley focused on Sora's arc but as those who are into incest anime know, there are few choices and this show is one of the more decent incest romance anime (at least the last arc).It will most definitely offend a lot of people but those with open minds will likely enjoy.

Great show, but avoid ALL REGION versions.
I love this show. It is cute and romantic. Sibling incest doesn't bother me so this show didn't. I gave it a 9/10...BE WARNED: Any DVD/Blu-ray that accepts ALL REGIONS are bootlegged. In Japan, any and all releases are restricted to the regional code that country uses. Companies in the US do it for their country's code. No company releases DVD's and Blu-rays on ALL REGIONS! This prevents reverse importing and exporting. Also, this show was not licensed outside of Japan so anybody using codes other than 2 are likely distributing a bootlegged copy. Be careful.
