Perfect for Spin Class
This seat cover is perfect for spin class. I got it on Friday and used it at my spin class today (Tuesday). My rump did not know what happened because it was almost a pleasure to sit on the bike today. The seat cover is full of gel and it offered lots of cushion. The cycle seat was still narrow and a little uncomfortable but this seat cover made a world of difference. I will also note that I am nowhere near being considered a "skinny minny" and this seat cushioned me well. No discomfort at all. I cannot comment on the longevity of this seat cover since I have only used it once so far but the cover seemed thick and sturdy. And I cannot recommend it enough! I am new to spin- having just started within the past month- and sitting on that bike seat was about to kill me. I wanted to keep spinning because it is such a great calorie burning exercise. I tried other brands of seat covers but this one is the absolue best!! I am actually looking forward to my next spin class- not dreading it. Some people say don't get a seat because then you won't want to do the standing rides so much but for the first time, I was able to jump up and look forward to sitting back down. Now I just need something to help with the twinges my thighs feel after class. Update on 11-11-11: I have now been using this seat for about 2 months (1-2 times per week) and I still love it. I keep it in the car so it is ready when I go to spin. The gel is still padding the seat nicely. It did get a little flat after a month but every so often, I shake it to move the gel around and it plumps back up. I have used it on several brand different spin bikes and on some of them it did move a little. This was resolved by making sure the drawstring was pulled tight. Regardless, it did not move very much and the slight movement did not stop my workout. Still a 5 star in my book.

Love it!
I have a Spinner brand Spinbike with a narrow, hard-as-a-rock seat and decided to get this seat pad in hopes a more comfortable ride would entice me to ride more. The seat cover isn't as wide and bulky as it looked in the photo. It might not work on an extra wide beach cruiser type seats but for regular and narrow it should be fine. It slips over the seat and a string and toggle are used to cinch it tight. If using this on an outdoor bike you will probably need or want to cut the strings shorter or maybe tie a bow once it's fastened on. I was kind of concerned that this would be a little slippery because the material is slick but I haven't had a problem staying on the seat when spinning quickly. I would also like to note that when I ride I do not usually wear cycling or work-out shorts and the shorts I do wear have seams in them so before I got this seatcover I was experiencing quite a bit of discomfort, but I don't want to have to go in and change my clothes to exercise because it's just another excuse to not do it. My first ride when I received the seat cover was just over 30 minutes and I was wearing a pair of cargo shorts. I had very little to no discomfort while riding and even the next day I only noticed the slightest hint when riding again. I am very pleased with this seat cover. If it lasts well I will have no reservations to recommend this to everyone. For now it getting a solid five stars based on fit, ease of use (it would be very easy to take with you to the gym and put on/take off their bikes) and comfort. Oh and I'm a female if that's helpful.

Great support for the ischium. Prevents perineal discomfort. Not much help for the coccyx.
I have a standard indoor cycle bike seat. After about 40 minutes, it becomes a struggle to stay on. I get pain along the ischial tuberosities or pain in the coccyx. Long after riding, I have had pain just sitting down. I ride my bike about 40-60 minutes but as long as 90 minutes. I have to switch positions frequently around the 40 minute mark. I had to find a solution so I gave this a try. This has a memory foam insert which is thin and pliable. It is not too thick that it interferes with the pedal stroke. The outer shell is a neoprene cover. It secures itself using a drawstring nylon tie down. Along the areas of where the ischial tuberosities sit, there is adequate padding. It has a longitudinal notch down the midline keeping the lower area of the pelvis from contact (perineum). So far, I have been pleased with the design. It's soft but provides excellent support. I have more comfort along the ischium but I don't feel the coccyx gets as much support as necessary. I have had a comfortable ride up to the 60 minute mark without pain so it has made a good improvement. I just wish there was more central support along the posterior aspect of the seat for my coccyx when I am biking upright. It definitely works. I am just looking for something that fits my needs more. Update: I have grown accustomed to the seat cover but I found others that feel better to me: Bell Gel Max and the New York 3 Silicone. I included pictures of them for comparison.

Oldschool Schwinn quality
I bought a Schwinn MTB that had this Schwinn memory foam with it & was really impressed with the comfort it provided, when I went to sell the bike I initially was going to keep the cushion but decided I didn't want to take something away that made the ride so special so I left it on when the bike was sold, I bought another cushion with all the options thinking it was going to be better bc it had a gel layer & all sorts of layers & gimmicks but I was wrong! This one just has the memory foam but honestly it makes the fancy schmancy one i bought feel substandard. The Schwinn Memory Foam is made in Vietnam where a lot good quality textiles are made & has everything you need & nothing you don't. I refurbish bikes & buy a ton of bike components & accessories & when something stands out I'm going to write about it. Could there be a better one out there, maybe, but in this price range, nothing is touching this thing.

May not last very long.
I had a hard time stretching it onto my Schwinn stationary bike seat. Some of the stitching on each side ripped out almost immediately as I was putting it on. It's on the seat now and the velcro straps seem to be holding it on well enough. Once I've used it a few times I'll decide if I want to try to repair the stitching and keep it on there or just toss it in the trash. It was cheap and I knew going in it may or may not work. I probably wouldn't buy it again.

Nice bike cushion/seat!
I usually stand a lot of my bike rides but I made myself sit down to try this seat cushion. I have no complaints at all about this seat cushion. Comfy n cushy. It did its job. It doesn't flatten out after multiple uses. I'd buy another one.

Good seat cover.
The seat fits on the bike seat well, but it is a little loose. I am using it on the OEM Peloton seat. It has a good amount of cushion. My wife likes the feel of the seat when she rides the Peloton.
