We have several of these for keeping our charcoal dry (at home and at our camper). We leave the charcoal in the bag and then put the bag inside. My husband keeps his grilling gloves and a lighter inside of this at the campground. These seal tightly enough that even when the humidity outside is heavy and so thick you can hardly breathe, the charcoal inside of this is completely dry! These fit perfectly under the back of our camper so they are out of the way. The one we have at home fits under our charcoal grill. The handle is solid on these! We have not used them to store the charcoal loose inside but I would think it would be pretty easy to handle pouring out of this!

It’s very sturdy and has a handle to pour the charcoal and will be perfect for keeping our charcoal dry on those rainy nights at the campground and at home. Although it is a little pricey, I would recommend it for keeping your charcoal dry.

Haven't used it yet but it seems like a good quality item. It was very hard to take off the cover, but hope that with use it will get easier.

This is REALLY STRONG. It also has an airtight lid. Yes, you can use it for charcoal, but it just happens to be the best poop bucket out there for dog poop! There--I said it. :)

Keeps my charcoal absolutely dry! It is nice to be able to store my charcoal outside by my grill.

I bought this for wood pellet storage thinking it was air tight. There's no seal and the lid doesn't even snap on, just sits on top so how can you pour anything out of the lid's opening as shown without the lid just falling off? Returning if not too late. Wood pellets need air tight container so they shouldn't be advertising this item as ok to use for those. Update: Turns out the return is to the seller at my expense along with restocking fee, even though their advertisement is mis-leading. Keeping the thing and will have to find some other use for it. Won't be buying from this seller again.
