Fixed my leaky oil cooler.
Fits perfectly on my 2005 Subaru Legacy GT wagon. Stopped the annoying oil leak above the filter so common on these years of turbo subis. It was an easy install as I had to change my oil AND install a new oil pickup so I had dropped the pan but I believe you can still do it with the pan in place and without draining the coolant. Just grab a little dental pick and feel around for it.

Not OEM
This is not Subaru OEM as the description says, oem does not come In packaging like this. It may work fine but I paid a premium for this of 9 bucks and expected oem. I could have bought numerous others for 5 bucks or less if I didn’t care but I like to use Subaru only for most things on my car. Just a heads up.

Correct gasket for 2004 Forester
It was the correct gasket, I installed it and the oil drip from the bottom of the Subaru oil filter is gone. Used the Tekton 14262 24mm deep socket, a mirror and the SE 10253HS pick set to scoop the old gasket out. The oil cooler tips down just enough at the front that you don't need to disconnect the coolant lines. Thanks to the guy on one of the Subaru boards for that info. So many people said you need to drain the coolant. It is completely unnecessary and a Subaru dealer wanted "up to" $400 to replace this gasket.

Do not believe it is Genuine Subaru
I have gotten genuine Subaru ones before and they looked and were shaped slightly different. This did not come in genuine Subaru packaging and looks like aftermarket ones I've used that are universal fit (Honda Toyota Subaru etc.) Maybe good quality but wanted Genuine Subaru!

Fits 2002 WRX
Fits EJ205 on USDM bugeye. If you’re careful you don’t have to disconnect the coolant lines; use a deep 24mm to unfasten the cooler and gently pull it down enough to remove/replace the O-ring. There is a groove into which this fits so make sure the new one is in all the way around.

Leaking from down under? This may help.
OEM O ring to go between the case and oil cooler. There's a you tube video on how to do this. It took me a few minutes with the proper tools and got rid of my weeping oil issue. The old one was dry rotted and brittle so this was a good easy job.

Fixed leaky oil filter on 2004 WRX
Used this to replace the old, worn-out gasket which was causing my oil filter to leak around the seal. The old gasket was flush with the surface where it sat, the new gasket has been working great so far. Just make sure you apply a strong clamp to the correct hose before installing or else you'll end up in a shower of coolant as my friend and I did.

Works for 03 Forester
Perfect fit for 03 Forester oil cooler.I was getting engine oil residue around the oil cooler and the filter. Later found it could be the oil cooler gasket that is leaking. So I replaced it (tons of instructions on youtube), and now no more leak.I could save hundreds by doing it myself rather than taking it to a shop.
