We love this clock. We prefer analog clocks because we think they look cool, so we have them in nearly every room in our home. This one is very cool!Pros:1) design is very cool. It is definitely not a classy rich design, but more hipster cool. We like it a lot.2) works well. Super easy. We've had it up for several days and it is holding time perfectly. No issues with functionality.3) love the glow function for night. Bright enough to read, but not as disruptive as a digital alarm clock! Do remember it needs a couple of days of light to fully charge. We had no glow night one, some night two, and full glow ever since.4) silent. We like the sound of clocks for our downstairs, but we have this in our bedroom. We love that it doesn't tick all night.Cons:1) none. I love how this looks. I will update if we notice any deviation in time accuracy, etc.

So I bought this and I did not receive a discount to buy it. First off, the numbers are lumed but the hands only half. Would be nicer if hands fully lumed or also lume for the second hand which does sweep. Having said that the lume does not last that long (less than a hour). Not all night lume and not that I would expect that for this clock either. But this clock is large and easy to read in the daytime. Uses a single AA not supplied. Face has kind of a honeycomb layer, I'm neutral on that. Otherwise a good and large wall clock with sweep second hand and lume. Sometimes I wish the 'quartz' was not printed for a wall clock but no big deal.

This is a retro look 13 inch diameter large numerals night glow wall clock. I was looking for such a clock to be able to read the time even from my bath tub and for the night time so that i am able to read time without glaring at harsh cellphone lights. This does pretty good job until it comes to the night glow part. Here is my analysis on this watch.PROs:-1). Super quite, you cannot hear a thing even if you place your ear on the clock2). Large display, easily read even from a distance3). Great looks, the retro design looks good on any wall.CONs:-1). Night glow, the only con is the night glow. No matter how much you charge it, the light will not last full night but rather 4-5 hours. After that you will still be able to see the numerals but not the clock hands so its hard to see the time.If your criteria is a low cost, easy-to-read, accurate, retro QUITE clock, then this watch is for you, if you definitely want a clock that will glow full night, then better look for other options out there.

I have had this clock for almost 7 years and it works very well. Its movement is very quiet. The one drawback is that the hands are not as illuminated in the dark as it was about five years ago. It is therefore difficult to tell the time in the dark although the number are pretty bright. Still love this clock though

Great wall clock with good size (It could be even larger), with an interesting fluorescent material that in fact absorbs visible light from the environment, and lights up the numerals as it mentions, but it last just a few minutes if there's no constant light feed. So, I would like a wall clock with a thin cable of led-based lights inside the clock's perimeter, with a light sensor, so whenever the night falls or there's no light enough around, the sensor might turn on the led-based line cable to light the numbers with a soft light along the inner perimeter by taking the energy from rechargable batteries so these can last longer (by taking advantage of the low energy consumption by the leds) providing the energy just during the night. In my case I would pay for these additional rechargable batteries in order to get such functionality in dark environments, so I believe many people would be too.As a 2nd configuration would be to equip the wall clock with solar cells to get recharged along the day too to somehow light the numbers out.As a 3rd configuration would be to replace the glow material in the numerals by a reflective material (used by many automobiles as safety luminous signal in their exterior used for the nights), and combine it with the led-based inner cable so the soft light would light out the numerals with good intensity.In summary, it's a very acceptable & nice wall clock with a good proposal by including the glow material on it, so this is a first step to take it to the next superior level, because it has the potential to do so.

This clock doesn't make a sound - it's exactly what I was looking for! I put it in my bedroom because I find digital display clocks too bright at night so this clock is just bright enough at night to see the time. The second hand moves seamlessly rather than ticking so there isn't the constant ticking noise associated with regular analog clocks. The delivery was quick, 2 days with prime. The clock got a minimal amount of light today but still lights up enough.Requires 1 AA battery, has an easy to install hook with it. Reminder: the clock is glow in the dark and does NOT have a light function on it all the clock will dim as the night goes on.Disclaimer: I paid FULL PRICE for this item and did NOT receive a discount so my opinion is 100% unbiased

As I write this near the summer solstice I tried using this clock in what is the best case scenario possible in my location. There is about 16 hrs of daylight and 8 hours of night and the room it is in has a west window meaning the room's brightest hour is just before sunset around 8-9pm. By midnight the was very little or no glow in the numbers. The room does have a night light so it wasn't completely dark. The non glowing numbers means the clock is low contrast lime green on white.In my case I was better off with regular black numbers/hands on a white face. The quality of the clock otherwise is very good and I would rate it 5 stars otherwise. But I feel it does not perform well as a "night light" clock.
