I wanted: big numbers on clock / soothing color (no more blaring red) / no more glaring numbers all night, wanted to be able to turn way down in intensity / white noise and/or nature sounds for sleep / must have capability of running white noises ALL night / compact / electric.....very hard to find all, sift thru a hundred choices....FOUND IT !!! great size on numbers, has a dial to pick intensity of brightness, so not just three choices, literally a hundred choices of light, you just move the dial til you are happy and then turn it back up high for daylight reading / nature sounds are great, I ended up choosing pink noise (never knew there were colors in noise) and switch off wi ocean and rain / has timer if you want your great compact size / electric, which allow you the power to use features ....batteries are for back up if your lights go out....don't use the alarm clock feature, but it has two alarms and separate sounds for your alarm if you hate beep beep so can't say how well it works....AND; easy peasy to set up, took me 4 minutes...and if you wish, you can set up sleep sounds on timer, I chose to not set up and let it run all night, just turn off and on with button......perfect clock for me, got everything I wanted and just in time for my birthday

After 6 months of using a Hatch Restore (which has some good features, but its reliance on other devices and the internet ruins it) I threw in the towel, looking for a better clock. This one is the best (and least expensive) alarm clock I have ever purchased. Pros: REALLY great bright/dimming adjustability. This is the most important feature for me, I want to see the time at night, but dim enough to not waike me up. (for side/stomach sleepers) 5 step dimming features don't do for me... you can set bright/dim exactly where you want it. Well executed sounds with adjustable volume. I was suprised how crappy many of the hatch sounds were executed... especially for the price. With the Reacher, birds actually sound like birds and not a squeaky wheel. All of the sounds (alarm and sleep sounds) are well done. Compact size that doesn't hog the nightstand, but digits are large enough for easy view. Stable when you hit snooze or any button to turn it off. Very simple to set up and clear instructions. (although intuitive without the instructions) Cons: None so far...

Big fan of this little guy. Love the size of this alarm. It’s perfectly small. Love the two alarm feature and the sound machine. My main complaint is that it doesn’t have space for the date but that’s just me being picky. Turning alarms on and off also require a long press (rather than a short one) which is counterintuitive to me but that’s also me just being picky

I didn’t realize how much I would LOVE this little alarm clock. There are so many features on this little thing that I probably haven’t even discovered them all. First of all, i love that you can dim and brighten this to your hearts content. Second, there are so many sound options to choose from but i particularly love #11 (thunderstorm). Another perk is that you can easily turn the volume up or down on the back without touching all the other alarm buttons. I don’t really use it as an alarm but I have a couple times and like how it sounds when it goes off. It’s loud enough to wake you but not startle you. Since it has a USB option for plug, we have this plugged right into our bedside lamp to avoid more outlet use and it’s perfect. All in all, loving this product so far and recommend if you’re in the market.

This product looked too good to be true. That is because it really is a very DEFECTIVE product. Bought 1 for me and 1 as gift. Long before 8 mo, mine started doing things all by itself: 1. volume set at level 8, but goes off at the max volume; 2. in the night, the clock would change the time so when I awoke, the time was hours wrong and missed the alarm due to that; 3. set sound a chirping birds but alarm went off with loud fan sound; 4. clock started appearing with 8888 and all types of symbols on the front; 5. daytime clock started to change the time by itself, to hours later w/i few minutes of me looking at it, 6. Then both alarms started doing the same thing (sound settings and time changes); 7. thought maybe just this one was defective. NO!, 8. gift clock then started doing the same thing about 2 weeks later; 9. MANY emails to company in CHINA, with dialogs not grammatically correct and words spelled wrong not knowing English, 10. they kept wanting me to video the problems exactly at the moment it went defective, which I sent MANY pics and videos to them, but impossible to attach 7/24 videos to emails due to size; 11. they kept saying different things and reasons showing they WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY WITHOUT PROOF that they WOULD accept! 12. I gave up, called Amazon, returned 1st item and then later, 2nd item for credits. THIS CLOCK IS ABVIOUSELY NOT MADE TO LAST MORE THAN 6 MO and most people would just trash it and forget about it. I want to warn people, it looks great, and worked only a few months! Do not buy it.

This alarm clock is small and easy to use, IF you read its manual. Its brightness is--contrary to what some others have written--quite easy to adjust up (AND way down), as well as its sound volume. The alarm sound choices are nice, too. I don't use the sounds to fall asleep (we're rural), but they're good if I did need them. The snooze bar is great and you can adjust the length of snooze time--an excellent feature. It's pricier than a lot of the other Amazon choices but it's totally worth the price difference. Highly recommended. I wrote the above last year. But yesterday it just conked out. The sounds still work but the visuals--clock and alarm--simply, spontaneously vanished. !?! No power surge or any other obvious reason. SO disappointed! But then...I wondered if the snafu had something to do with the BACK-UP BATTERIES...so I replaced them (3 AAA's)...and it worked again. !!! Other users who reported what I did should try the same thing.

This is a very clever little unit, easy to set up and use. The only thing I didn’t like was that the charger plug does not fit Australian power points, so had to use another one.

Fault so returned. The time would keep resetting all the time. This happened whether on mains power or on battery. Amazon returns are good though so cannot fault that. This is a very nice looking alarm clock though. The brightness is adjustable and you can change the colours on the screen. Although the range of colours is limited. Be aware, the range of sounds available for background noise and for the alarm are different. Check carefully which is which before buying. I was lucky that the background sounds covered the ones I wanted and the alarm sounds suited me. However, I can imagined some people may want to have some of the background sounds as an alarm. The device also does not have an increasing volume mechanism for the alarm. This would be useful to wake some people gently, instead of having a fixed volume.

So I wanted a white noise generator that would be loud enough to drown out background noise when travelling as well as a dimmable screen so I am not blasted in the face. This works great. 1) It is small so easily portable. 2) The LED screen is 100% dimmable using a roller wheel from super bright to OFF and everything in-between. 3) Speakers are loud enough. The right speaker plays the background noise, left for alarms. Not as good as the 10W Logitech Multimedia Speaker Z50 I used before plugged into my phone but good enough and smaller and does not need my phone. 4) 12 background sounds are ok. Some have a very artificial sound but others are ok. I just use the #5 brown noise and it works well. 5) Battery backup for power outages (have not tested) 6) Totally user friendly labels on all buttons that are self explanatory without a manual! It is actually very easy to program all settings! Great little clock.

I love how this clock is compact, but has so many features. I love the noise machine included, so I don't have to have 2 things on my nigh table. Love the dimmable feature and dual alarms, and noise control. These ppl have thought of everything!!

I was really worried this would be something that was horrible. I'm a bit picky with my alarm clock... But so far I've been perfectly happy with it. A bit worried that when using the battery backup it seems to fully function. Seems cool, but I don't know how quick the batteries will die, especially if I'm using the white noise. Better then no battery backup anyway. Otherwise, settings the alarms and general use of the device, it works as it should. The white noises are pretty good with no audible loop point (which is mucho no bueno for me). The sound is good enough to not be distracting. The alarm so far has worked fine, I like having the choice of different wakeup sounds, even if none particularly stand out. I also like having complete control of wakeup volume. The display works just fine, especially because it has infinite dimming control. Overall, pretty happy so far. Now, if it fails me as an alarm clock more then, say, once a year, then I'm going to have a problem =P
