Q: Does the seat have a pocket/compartment under it?

The particular model does not include a compartment under the seat.

Q: my daughter will be 6 soon. Would this be too big for her? She's pretty tall. Is it going to be way too fast?

It's not that big, so I think it would be fine for a 6 year-old. It will go up to 15 mph, but you can putter around slower on it. My daughter did that until she was comfortable and now she zips around everywhere. It was one of the best things I have ever purchased. She takes her friends on it. She's made a trailer so she can go to Grandma's (it's 6 blocks away in a very small town). She's used it so much, we almost need new tires.

Q: I want to put training wheels on this. Does anyone know which ones work the best with this scooter?

As the manufacture, we do not recommend adding training wheels to any of the products.
