Great little project
I've previously completed three wooden puzzles and this one was definitely the smallest. In my opinion it is a little too small especially for a group project. I think this one should be scaled up to a $25 model but I had a lot of fun assembling. A couple of pieces break but I was prepared with some clear glue and everything worked out fine in the end. I also added some stain to give it a rustic look. Sharpies also work. It took roughly two nights to get it all together. The string was a nightmare so I didn't attach them all. It takes a lot of patience and it was extremely tedious at times but that seemed to give me the most satisfaction. I would not recommend it for everyone but I love these puzzles and will purchase more.

Small but cute
Very easy to understand and use. Smaller than expected but still fun for kids. Decent value for the money.

Time consuming in a positive way
With an individual having an above aptitude for building, I found this to be a challenge. The small parts are an effort to place, and break easier than expected. But on a positive note; I continue to enjoy building them.

Easy to assemble
This model goes from flat sheets of plywood to a free standing model ship in just a couple of hours. Everybody thinks the sails are super cool. Some parts don't fit as snugly as I would like, so I used some clear glue to prevent them from falling out.

Detailed, Fun and Fragile
Pretty cool little puzzle with some neat details. The boat's smaller than I expected but I should have checked dimensions when I ordered it. It is delicate and you have to be careful and take your time as to not break the pieces. If it wasn't so fragile I would have given it 5 stars. Keep some Elmers glue near by to help solidify certain loose parts. I used stick glue and it works fine. Use the sandpaper on tight fitting pieces and be careful removing the pieces from their boards. This was a fun little project. I'm moving on to the hot air balloon next.... Update: Finished the hot air balloon and upped the rating to 5 stars. The balloon was a lot less fragile. What's next!?

Be Gentle!
Overall it looks very nicely made, however the pieces can brake very easily, and it doesn’t come with many spare parts, I was able to assemble it in about 3 hours going slow but two of the masts broke at the bottom and many of the pieces developed cracks. It’s a nice project but wish it was a sturdier wood (wouldn’t mind paying a few extra bucks).

Nice quality
The wood is sturdy so that it's not easy to break, and it smells very nice. I looked up a video online for more detailed instructions, but it wasn't hard. Lots of tiny pieces that came with extras in case you loose them while building. I did accidentally break the anchor in half, but a little wood glue fixed it right up.

A good way to pass the time.
First, I would like to preface this by saying if you struggle with puzzles, you probably won't like this. However, if you are like me and hyper focus on solving/building things, this was a lot of fun. I finished this in two hours after a stressful day at work and I enjoyed every minute of it. The string for used for the ropes was probably the most challenging part for me and I didn't even do as was suggested. For the puzzle lovers out there, enjoy! This was so relaxing for me.
