Great water bottle
Bought this 6 mos ago for my Shih-Tzu puppies when they’re in their crate. It works well, is easy to install and does not drip if the the dogs aren’t drinking out of it. It does exactly what I need it to do with no mess and no fuss. I like how the water bottle clips on from the outside of the crate with ease and has a distinct “snap” sound when the bottle is seated in place correctly. A well built water bottle - holds about 1 cup of water - which is perfect for my little 7 lb dogs.

My dog prefers using this over a regular water bowl lol
This dog water bottle feeder is amazing! It’s completely leak-proof—no drips or mess, which is such a relief. My dog figured out how to use it right away, and it’s perfect for walks, road trips, and even around the house. The bottle is sturdy, easy to fill, and the built-in dispenser works smoothly. I also love that it’s portable and fits easily in my bag or car cup holder. Keeps my pup hydrated and saves me from spills. Highly recommend for pet owners on the go!

Great for a Crate
This really helps out with thirst in our puppy's crate in between drinking from his bowl. We haven't had any issues with dripping at all. The bottle is pretty small, but that actually hasn't been an issue and you can screw on a 500-ml or 20-oz bottle if you need more volume. My only issue is that the dispenser is a little small for even my 12 lb puppy. It just doesn't provide water fast enough for him. He definitely uses it, but 100% prefers drinking from a water bowl. Other than that, it's really sturdy and I like the clip-on/off mechanism which makes it very easy to refill.

Small animal water bootle
This bottle does not drip. I have had many others and they all had dripping.

No leaks, easy lick dispenser. Great for small animals
Exactly as described. The product is good for small animals, very light. Does not leak (I was surprised as there are no gaskets, but it does not leak -- kudos), very reasonable price. I personally am indifferent to color, but the color is precisely as pictured. Do not forget to change water though -- they recommend once a day but I feel this way too long. Twice a day at least, and your beasties will love this bottle. This one does not feature spring-ed ball (which was exactly what we needed), but if you think you need - get one size up.

Much smaller than the image implies
While this item doesn't seem to leak and the dog figured it out pretty quickly, it is a lot smaller than they make it appear in the photo. It's definitely photoshopped. I took a photo with our 64 lb lab with this waterbottle attached to her cage. I've added a banana for perspective.

Excelente calidad a bajo
It's a high-quality product and works very well. I returned it because I mistakenly bought the wrong size. I've now purchased the correct size.

GET C528 (Aqua) FOR CATS, NOT C590 (Blue)/H590 (Apple Green)!
This is a truly unusually-outstanding product in the amount of thought and care the owners put into the design and manufacture. That being said, it's also striking how the company would misguide people to the WRONG PRODUCT for CATS! Especially since their lineup is a bit confusing, you'd think they'd be extra-careful. They guide you to C590 (BLUISH-PURPLE) and H590 (APPLE GREEN) for "dogs/cats and other small to medium-sized animals". This is wrong for CATS and "actually small" dogs. GET C528 (GREENISH-AQUA) FOR CATS/SMALL DOGS! Strikingly, their marketing DOESN'T SHOW A SINGLE CAT in ANY of their montages. That's what threw me off. So after buying the larger one first, I can tell you that the Aqua one (C528) is the BEST FOR CATS. For crying out loud, they put a CHINCHILLA in their C528 montage, and not a single CAT! MAIN SIMILARITIES: - They're almost identical in nozzle length, and close to the same width. What matters here is the strength of the SPRING holding the ball back, and I'll get to that. - The bottle sizes are the same (10.2 oz). - Extremely similar designs (mounts, functioning). MAIN DIFFERENCES: - Aqua (C528) has a LIGHTER SPRING that is EASIER for LITTLE TONGUES to depress (less work). This could help in faster adoption. - The nozzle width is 13 vs 16 mm, but they're so similar that even looking at them side-by-side, you'd have to look closely to really see the difference. First having the blue (C590), it took about 2 months - and some creative, sometimes-difficult coaxing - to get the cat to 'figure it out' that "water comes out of here, but you have to press hard with your tongue". The spring holding the ball back was just so stiff, the cat would lick the ball I'd pre-wetted, but the cat wouldn't lick hard enough to make water come out. Eventually we got it, and the cat (to my relief) actually started preferring the C590 even to the nasty water bowl. When I finally got the aqua (C528), adoption was immediate, and I was finally able to stop using the bowls. I think the cat prefers the lighter spring, though to be honest, the cat still uses the blue/C590 set up in another room, vs going to a different room to get a drink from the aqua/C528. I would use the larger 590 series for midsize dogs. For large dogs, I'm sure they could use it but it would run out quickly, so they have the biggest model for them, with more chrome for huge tongues. . With hindsight, for choosing models, I'd now say it's BETTER for it to be TOO SMALL THAN TOO BIG. A bigger animal can always use the smaller bottle, but a smaller animal won't necesssarily be able to use (or figure out) the bigger bottles with stronger springs. I'm just saying, if you have a cat or a genuinely small dog, buy the C528 (aqua/13mm nozzle), not the blue or apple green (16mm nozzle). Using this product, you will see how much thought the designers put into it. This is light years ahead of the cheap hamster bottle (which I also tried - and the cat used occasionally - but now ignores in favor of either Choco Nose bottle). You can get creative with mounts beyond cages. I doubled up some cardboard as backing, poked a hole through it (with scissors) for the bottle's mount peg to go through, and now it sticks out the side of a wire bookshelf at low level (with books holding the cardboard up). If they could make it easier for people to mount in multiple rooms, THEY'D SELL MORE OF THEM. This is, again, a lost marketing opportunity. I would really like to see a mount that could work for for lamp posts. I haven't figured that out yet. But, even a decent-sized cardboard box, with some stuff in it to weight it, you can punch through and mount one of these (best to put an extra square of cardboard inside the box to reinforce the box wall). Or, if you have a pet carrier cage you hardly ever use, you can set a bottle up with the nozzle pointing OUT, and the pet carrier will now serve a purpose, vs just taking up room. I took off 1 star ONLY because of the cat marketing fail. They need to take the word "cat" off of C590/H590, and actually put A PHOTO OF A CAT in the C528 graphic. Choco Nose, send me a consultation donation! The product itself, just makes you proud of whoever came up with these. Apparently an American couple with an idea, and seeing a niche, they went for it. And they did a great job. Yes, it is made (not designed) in China, hence the (I think very affordable, for the uniqueness and quality) price, but with good supervision, and a truly unique design. Oh. And dripping? No way. They're amazing. Here's a free tip for the cheap "hamster/gineau pig" water bottles to make them drip less: FILL THE BOTTLE TO MAX FULL, then screw on the nozzle, and flip it upright quickly. This forms a bit of a negative-pressure/vacuum to help hold the water in, and not drip. But for the Choco Nose, I noticed that that isn't necessary. Even if you want to fill it partway, it won't leak. However, I'd still recommend filling it to maximum full as a good practice. And, when it's low, of course dump whatever water's remaining in there, and fill with the cleanest water you have (preferably not tap). This solution is so much cleaner than "bowls". I think the pets should have access to more than 1 bottle (again, lost marketing opportunity), in case they get temporarily lose access to that room for whatever reason. I also like that you can HEAR WHEN and HOW LONG they're drinking. But it's actually still QUIETER than those loud gineau pig bottles. That's because the ball on the Choco Nose is much larger, and the spring is stronger, and it's in a plastic tube. Whereas the 'gineau pig bottles' have a freeflowing (no spring), small ball, that rattles in the all-metal tube. So the 'drinking sound' is actually kind of pleasant with the Choco Nose, but grating with the traditional pet store water bottles. I will admit that the 590 (larger) series is definitely quieter, as the spring is so much stronger (and the ball bigger). The aqua is noisier, but it still doesn't annoy me. Get what's right for your pet. You can also easily visually SEE/MONITOR their water, whereas I had difficulty keeping track of the status of little bowls of water. And no more overturned water bowls, or playing "patty cake" with the water! "Mysteriously wet paws" are now a thing of the past! You (and your pet) will want more than 1, if you can get your pet to figure it out. Remember: err on the side of small.

I have been through many water bottles over the years and they’ve all leaked and have rusted the metal on my dog crates. They all have “leak proof” in the titles but it’s always a lie ! I was VERY skeptical so I’ve tested it out for a while before my review. It’s very easy for my dog to get the water out. The 16mm bottle is perfect size for my shih tzu. A little water does get in the floor as he drinks so I have a little bowl on the floor to catch the water but it only happens from him drinking. Afterwards it’s back to no leaks. Highly recommend. I’ve already purchased a second one -I like that you can switch which way the water bottle faces without having to remove the holding mechanism off of the crate. So when I leave for the day I simply clip the water bottle to face into the crate and then flip it back around to face outwards during the rest of the time.

I like the idea of this water bottle, I got it because I wanted to keep my dog clean when drinking water, no dripping. However there is very little water comes out when she licks, she certainly can’t get much water if only drinking out of this bottle . Unfortunately I can’t say it works.
