Q: Are these actually stainless steel?

Yes. They are stored on my porch in an area of high humidity and they do not rust, like the ones they replaced.

Q: What is straight pin length in inches?

The lenth of pin is 1.5inches , 38mm.

Q: Are these pins ball points or sharps?

The pins have glass heads. The first set I received were not sharp at all. The company sent me a replacement set and the replacement set is sharp and will go through my fabric to secure it.

Q: Where are these made ?

Seem to be not an USA-produced pin but they worked wonderfully for my projects. I work on ordinary, every-day fabrics, not heavy or dense ones, and worked well for cotton and for polyester fabrics. Sharp enough to prick my fingers when not paying attention. 😀
