I've got several color blends of this type of yarn and I just love it for pom poms. The yarn is sturdy and thick: not as many windings for pompoms as other yarns. And once cut, this yarn fluffs up perfectly! Makes a really sturdy pompom: nice a full. I'm using machine embroidered faces for animals (off Etsy) and they're coming out simply adorable!
