The parts are of good quality and I would advise that if you have not worked on a Throttle Body before you may find this tough. I have work on Throttle Bodies as well as carburetors and this one due to the spring pressure has its difficulty. Once together I bolted it up to my intake and cranked the Truck on the second try. It runs very well and seems to get better with each time I drive the Truck. I can't really say much regarding the horse power increase but i do think that my truck is running better and as well as seems to ideal much smoother.

Idk about 40hp but if you but if you believe you have extra hp youll be faster
I love it works well on my 1993 silverado 350 tbi along with headers throttle body spacer a new intake and nasty cam👍👍
