Barbie Yara Shahidi Shero Doll (12-inch Brunette, Curly Hair) Collectible in 'Vote' T-Shirt, with Stand and Certificate of Authenticity

This is an excellent addition to the Barbie She does. Beautiful petite made to move body like the BMR1959 with a Carmel color skin tone. She comes with a slimmed legged pantsuit that has a yellow pinstripes with a great quality fabric texture; matching jacket with no lapels and simple white t-shirt with the letters in bright colors that read VOTE, championing Yara's activism. She has tiny white standard Barbie sneakers but a black slingback bag with an I Voted sticker. The details are even in the packafing slogans like "Raise Ypur Voice" and "Passion into Action". You can even see the ballot box behind her and she carries a mock ballot in her hand. I bought two and my boxes were pristine.My only negatives would be the quality of the face capture which doesn't quite resemble her and I wish they hadn't give her face mold a smile. But that's just a pet peeve of mine.Her hair is a good quality too-very soft and maintained in a hairnet- styled in a loose naturally curly manner with a mock ponytail in the front which I have seen the actress, model and activist wear on several occasions.Way to honor people of color with this Yada Shahidi!!! Barbie's line of Signature Sheroes continues to impress. Now I wish I had gotten the Ava Duvernay back in the day.

All right. So besides the box being a little beat up on the side the item itself was in good condition and everything was still inside. No damage on the doll or anything after opening it up and checking it out of course so that's good. No complaints from my daughter because she usually doesn't keep her boxes anyway. So yeah, she absolutely loves this doll and is glad to finally have her, but the only thing she doesn't like is her smile. Overall it's a nice doll.

Truly one of my prized pieces. At first I wasn't too fond of the fact thatv they picked such a young girl-- but after researching this young woman, I learned of her activism and world knowledge. Her plans to become a historian plus her many awards including the Generation Next Award- presented by Essence Black Women rei force her worthiness of a Doll by Barbie. The fact that she's a first cousin of rapper and song wriiter Nas is an added conversation with family and friends. 🖤

Very beautiful doll! This doll is fully articulate on a new petite made to move body. Her skin tone is not quite as dark as a yellow top made to move doll, but very close. The outfit is 3 separate pieces. Her hair is very soft. I purchased one to stay in box and 1 to remove. The packages came in decent shape with a few minor flaws.

The doll arrived well packaged. It was just as described. The price was a good deal; other sellers offered this doll at a higher price. It was a great addition to my Barbie collection. I Amazon first to locate a great price for my dolls.

This doll is pretty cool. In my opinion, she looks nothing like Yara but she is ok. Her outfit is adorable and I love the Vote shirt and the ballot. She also has a book bag that has a vote message on it as well. Watch out for her hair though.. I went to fluff it with my fingers as it was flat from being in the box and entire curls fell out. It wasn't a lot but it was a bit disturbing at first. She is a made to move doll which makes it great and why I gave her 4 stars.

Nice doll! Good detail. Great for any little girl as a role model for modern women and their right to vote and well done.

Very beautiful face! Love the made to move body. Definitely giftable, received in pristine condition. Doesn’t look exactly like the actress but still lovely doll and great addition to barbie collection.
