Cute, but....
Shoes are very cute, but WAY small. I generally wear a 7 1/2, but sometimes order an 8 in sneakers to accommodate heavy winter socks worn while hiking. I ordered these in a size 8 and they were VERY small. Returning, because I doubt an 8 1/2 would even work.

Stiff
These were stiff and hurt my feet. They are waterproof but did not work for my needs.

Great quality and breathable but not Gore-Tex and is a bit tight
I always used Salomon for hiking and when Vine offered me this Keen, I thought I give it a try. I'm glad I did as Keen is now a brand that I trust. I've used it on and off in the past 3-4 months and here are my findings.Pros:- This shoe is light, not the lightest you can find on Amazon but is certainly lighter than most shoes I've had- It is very breathable and you don't feel super warm in it, specially in warm San Diego hikes, the breathe certainly helps- The design and color helps hide the dust that sits on your hike shoes. Even after hours of hiking and a quarter inch of dust on your shoes, the shoes still look nice and fancy.- Although not Gore-Tex, the shoe is waterproof and is a good waterproof, I've had several cases of walking in water or in puddles with no issues.- The grip is not as good as Vibram but still amazingly good and very very reliable specially on dry surfaces. Haven't had the chance to test it on wet surfaces much so can't vouch for the grip on wet surfaces- After more than 30 hours of use during the past 3-4 months, I can see that it still looks like new so I can easily assume it is a very durable shoe.Cons:- It is not Gore-Tex. Nothing replaces Gore-Tex imo when it comes to hiking- I have a thin narrow foot but I still feel these shoes are a bit tight. specially around the toes. Many hikers do this and order half a size up for hiking for comfort specially if they do easy trails but I never did it. I feel like with these shoes you're better off ordering half a size up. Not that it runs small, it's just a bit too tight.- I understand it's a low height shoe but the low height shoes of other brands are higher than this one, this is almost too low imoOverall, a great shoe made of great quality material and very very reliable, breathable and nicely designed show. I do recommend this product.

Excellent hiking shoes but runs narrow and small
I have a true 7.5 size foot I ordered the 8 and they fit snug especially where the toe guard is it feels like it’s pressing down on my big toe in one of the shoes but as I have been wearing them it’s getting better. These do need some breaking in before wearing for long hikes. These do run more narrow than other Keen shoes i have so if your foot runs wide these will be uncomfortable on you. The soles have excellent traction and gives you a good solid step. I did find that the shoelaces are a little bit shorter than what they should be but they do stay tied and don’t keep coming undone. I did point out a few cons with these hikers but not enough to knock a star off for.

Disappointed
They are darker than expected. Ordered the green but they look more just grey. The insoles are too hard. I wanted these because they’re supposed to be waterproof. I have to walk on asphalt including in winter-so I’m going to try to make them work with better insoles . I’d hoped they’d feel like my Aasic Gel Nimbus shoes but not. If they’re not waterproof I’ll return them.
