When I was a little girl, I had hair to the bottom of my back. My grandmother used to brush it - 15 minutes a night. Well, as an adult I kept cutting it, until I had short hair. WOW! Wash it and it's dry and ready in a few minutes. I no longer even owned a brush -- my stick straight, baby fine hair only needed to be combed. And then pandemic hit, and I ended up with hair 4" below my shoulders. BAD BAD BAD. My hair vacillated between just hanging and being flyaway. It became obvious that I needed a good hair brush and 15 minutes a night of bending over and brushing my hair. I bought a boar hair brush. It barely skimmed the surface. I bought a wide-tooth plastic brush. Not any better than my wide toothed comb. And then I happened on this brush. I'll admit, I was immediately attracted by how pretty it was. So -- what the hey....and this brush is AWESOME! It has the boar bristles to smooth the hair, and plastic bristles to make sure the hair gets to the boar bristles. My hair is now soft and manageable -- and healthy from root to end. (And yes, you have to trim the ends.) I recommend this brush heartily. NOTE -- I am not a paid reviewer, and no one gave me anything -- I just selected it, bought it, and am incredibly pleased with my purchase.

I love this brush! I have thick hair that it’s hard to get down to my scalp. Other brushes have felt like they’re clawing my scalp or ripping my tangles out. This brush gets down to my scalp without the tugging. It detangles wet or dry hair. The bristles are soft but still manage to detangle very well. The comb is oversized and perfect for getting through tangles, curls and styling with.

I’ve had it about two years and love it, just bought a new one. Probably the best brush I’ve ever had, and it’s pretty too.

First impressions are love for the brush! Good size, seems sturdy, and I like the combination of different bristles and how they work on my hair which is hip length. Nice surprise as I’m somewhat picky with what type of hair devices I use…

I have extremely curly hair that gets greasy at the roots but dry/frizzy at the ends. I have been trying new things to improve the health of my hair and ive heard that these boar bristle brushes are good for redistributing oils. This brush is easy to hold, use, and does not pull/knot my curls as I brush through it like most brushes do. Only negatives I have 1) the metal ring on the handle can sometimes grab, pull, and rip hair if not careful or moving to fast, but it doesn't happen all the time so it's not a deal breaker for me 2) the brush didn't come with any instructions on how to clean/care for the bristles, and over time as skin cells, dirt, and oils begin to build up I wonder how it will affect my hair. (I'm sure some simple research will answer these concerns, but I do prefer instructions from the seller directly because they usually consider what soaps/cleaners might effect the other materials of the brush as well)

My forever brush! After 2 years I just now needed to get a new one and the other one im sure still has some life in it just is losing a few bristles. I have fluffy hair and this brush tames it with ease! Girls with puffy hair this is your go to brush!

I have really grown to love this brush. It is a gentle and relaxing way to brush my fluffy curly hair. The box has some pretty spectacular broken English on it, it made me giggle pretty hard. If you can look past the weird branding/packaging it’s a fabulous brush, especially for the price. I would buy it again. The comb it came with is nice too and does a good job of helping clean hair out of the brush. It feels sturdy and good in the hand. I’m not sorry I bought it.

DON'T BUY--something's very wrong. The brush is very pretty--but smaller than expected but no problem. For years been looking for a brush like this--boar bristles and nylon--they used to be available everywhere. Took out of its box, brushed my hair, had it on a table in the family room. We all started smelling chemicals--like an exterminator put down rat poison! Or someone sprayed ant & roach spray. I ended up with congestion and a sore throat. We went outside and searched for the source and found nothing. Then I realized---maybe the brush! I smelled it and it nearly knocked me over. I came to Amazon and did a search on "smell" and TONS of reviews mention this UNHEALTHY, poisonous TOXIC odor. I am not a "chemical sensitivity" type and unbothered by smells but this is a whole-family grossed out and burned throat sort of situation. My guess is this is made in China and was sprayed with insecticide. I tossed the box and everything already so I'll just toss this brush. I even have a chemical taste in my mouth from it and my chest hurts now.
