I whip 1/8 tsp into my breakfast egg before frying. Just the right amount of heat and flavor. Goes well with the other seasonings I add to the egg - black pepper; white pepper; tarragon; sea salt.

With online spices, you never know how fresh it's going to be. This is fantastic. It has not been sitting around; the flavor is great, the spiciness is great, and I put it on all kinds of stuff! The level of heat is perfect to sprinkle on. You can get a big kick of heat if you want, or keep it mellower, but it will always have a bit of bite. It's a big package, so you want to use it frequently, but I am really happy with the quality of this product.

Bought this to make tikka masala. Nice and fresh and spicy. Great value.

I bought this so I could try an America's Test Kitchen recipe for "Goan Pork Vindaloo" that I saw on their TV show. They emphasised that it was really mild and the recipe calls for 3 TABLESPOONS of Kashmiri Chilli Powder. When I made the dish, following the recipe to the letter, it was HOTTER THAN HELL. Lovely flavors, but my wife was unable to eat it and, as for me, it certainly cleaned out the sluices at both ends! I would recommend cutting the quantity of the powder to maybe 1/3 of the recommended amount (which I will do next time) or trying a different brand of powder.

We're always looking for new flavors and experimenting with different recipes. We enjoy spicier cuisine, and found a recipe that calls for this type of chili powder. I'm sure there's a fair amount of variation in any natural product. This is quite a bit tamer than cayenne or chipotle powder, but also hotter than anything we would consider 'low heat'. Bottom line - worth trying, but start with lower doses to calibrate.

This Kashmiri Chili powder is a must in our kitchen. We make big batches of Butter Chicken and freeze portions for later use. This Chili powder gives the absolute best flavor with just the right amount of spice for us. We found it to be in the medium spicy level. (I realize that everyones tolerance level for spice is different) but the flavor is just so good!!We are on our second bag of this spice, and will continue to order it it's that good!

YUM! Never had this before but dam it gives a deep, rich pepper taste to the food (not too spicy) and creates a deep dark red color. Take a chance, this stuff is awesome paired with paprika!

Couldn’t find this anywhere I looked. Just what I needed for chicken tikka masala. Super rich red color added to the dish. It seems to be good quality! Should last a while with how much product came with it :)
