Mounting screw holes were differentbfrom obsolete Fusion speakers.

I’ve been using Fusion on my boat for years. It’s just as loud and sounds just as good if you have it all hooked up right. I have mine on kicker marine amp. I use the Fusion RA660 head unit. These speakers also have better warranty than JL. You can’t go wrong JL is overpriced and always will be.

I purchased 8 of these 7.7 speakers for my pontoon boat to replace the 8 Pyle 7.7 I had that finally dry rotted after 6 years. I decided to try an upgrade for a little better sound. And boy was it a upgrade to the sound. These thing just plain out ROCK.I was so happy,,,Until 1 quit after 2 weeks and then another quit the next weekend. They replaced the pair no problems. About 2 more weeks 2 more quit. This kept up untill all of them finally stopped working or they would cut on and off, sometimes you could bump them and it would play. After all these were replaced under warranty they seem to be holding up better than the first bunch did. The 1 by they started to work intermediality again.I ordered another pair to replace 2. I found on the old pair that the little wire from the terminals to the speaker cone was broken. After another one quit i replaced it with one i had fixed and found the same wire broken on that one. These are great sounding speakers but have very cheap made parts. i am using a Hiphonics 1000.4 amp. which worked great for 6 years on the Pyle with no issues except dry rot. These may be a stock replacement but not a performance speaker. Dont through your money away.
